MARTA (FR) - LIVE AT SOUL THESSALONIKI. We are excited to welcome MARTA to Thessaloniki for their first appearance in the city, presented by .records and . Formed in 2022 from the meeting of violinist Joachim Baumerder and drummer Simon Lacouture, live techno duo that channels the energy of the club into a fully performed live set. Their approach
is built around a deliberately stripped-down setup: violin, drums, pedals, and a few layers, serving a
physical, repetitive, dance-driven sound where organic elements constantly interact with techno codes.
Noticed with their first EP ROOM, which received a Qobuzissime selection for its efficiency and radical
edge, marta quickly established itself as a live-focused project. The duo has played over forty shows,
including appearances at Bars en Trans and BISE Festival, asserting a distinctive and firmly club-oriented
live identity.
In 2026, Marta opens a new chapter with the release of the EP PUSH, paving the way for an extensive tour
— the most ambitious the project has undertaken to date. 📍 THESSALONIKI. 🗓️ 7 November 2026

Opening act: PANTELIS STOIKOS LIKE QUARTET

FRIDAY 20 MARCH
Doors open 21:30 |

⚫ Stiff Buscemi is an instrumental psychedelic rock band from Novi Sad, Serbia. The band draws inspiration from various types of local peppers, African spices, and Middle Eastern teas. Spontaneously formed in 2018, the band spent the next three years searching for its identity and musical expression through jam sessions, collaborations with other artists, and experimentation with sound and style. In 2022, the band began working on its first official album, “Jet-Black Highdooks”, which defined their current sound and style. In 2025, the album saw the light of day in collaboration with the record label Inverted Spectrum Records.

⚫ Pantelis Stoikos Like Quartet made its debut in September 2018 at the Jazz Festival Chellah in Morocco. Since then, they have performed at numerous venues and festivals across Thessaloniki and northern Greece. In October 2019, they took the stage at the NIOU Jazz Festival in Tirana, Albania. A highlight for the group was sharing the stage with Balkan music legend Ivo Papazov and internationally renowned jazz musician Milcho Leviev. Their repertoire blends contemporary jazz with influences from both local and broader Balkan musical traditions, striking a unique balance between East and West.
