Dreaming Awake is that state of delirium when you’re walking in a dream world, not fully awake, but certainly not asleep.

In this state of mind music can sound exceptionally awesome as the delirium state can be quite psychedelic. This is the basis Treavor Moontribe (Desert Dwellers, PheuZen) used when deciding the name of his record label, which focuses on various styles of deeper more trippy techno, house and progressive genres. That delirious, liminal state between exhaustion & euphoria… where reality blurs & boundaries dissolve. That’s where the label Dreaming Awake Records was born.

For TTreavor Moontribe that dreamlike state mirrors how he approaches music and DJing: fluid, expansive, unconfined.

With 26+ years as one half of DDesert Dwellers& co-founder of the legendary Moontribe Gatherings, Treavor launched Dreaming Awake in 2019 to carve a new lane for deep, psychedelic, and emotionally charged dance music.

Progressive house, melodic techno, organic grooves... it’s a sound that floats, blends, and never stays in one lane. Just like him.
