'RESTORE ME, LORD..:

Lord, I"ve lost my faith
There's no joy left inside.
I smile when I'm at church,
No one sees how I've cried..

I've prayed for You to heal me,
But just grew worse each day.
I question if You even listen
To anythimg that I say...

I've mssed our times together,
When You and I would meet
We would commune together
In fellowship so sweet...

Please heal my broken spirit
And restore me once again.
Bring me back into Yout presence,
Help me to be sttomg again...

I can deal with the stress my famIly gives me on a daily basis . I'm strong enough to carry the load of everyday life i've had to face every day with only the strength that comes from God, even though many times I feel so weak... i smile when I feel like screaming. . I laugh when I'm afraid.. Sometimes I close my eyes and never want to open them again... i memorize verses of Scripture on a daily basis, reminding Abba Father of His promises to heal me... And yet, I keep getting bad news from my doctors...
How long must I continue this battle? I am a warrior in the army of the living God...The enemy whispers, "give it up, it's not worth it", but I refuse to let him win. I have read the final chapters of God's Word and He has the victory! I will tread upon Satan s ashes after he's been destroyed by fire! This is his fate, and he knows his time is short!
So here's my promise to Abba Father... No matter how I may feel. I will continue to fight to the end.. I am more than a conqueror through Him who loves me! And though sometimes I may feel I'm worth nothing, I know I'm worth everything to my Lord, because He loved me, and gave Himself up for me...This is my legacy, and I want to pass it on....To God be the glory!

You had me captivated,
Lost in this romance...

That smile of yours is crazy,
Your eyes can see my soul;
It's not like me to be this way,
I'm usually in control!

I've waited far too long
To see my dream come true;
Then you walk into my life,
And make me fall for you.

No words need to be said,
Just hold me close, my love,
You hold me captivated
My angel from above...

At first, we were just strangers,
Wbo never met before;
Then you said "hello";
And we got to know each other more.

We chatted on the phone,
We flirted on the net;
We kept in touch each day,
It seemed our path was set.

You hold my heart today,
So keep it safe for me;.
It's amazing how two hearts
Unite for eternity..

Until we meet one day,
May I make this clear,
Please be true to me,
And I'll be forever yours, my dear....

God hears the words
That can't come out right;
And He sees the tears
That soak your pillow at night.

He sees the dreams that
Have been shattered to pieces;
God knows all the struggles
That never ceases...

God knows that at times
You feel He's not there;
But believe it or not,
He hears every prayer.

Surrender your burdens
Into His loving hands;
He'll comfort you, friend,
Cause He understands.

Lord, the road's been pretty hard,
I've fallen down a bit;
But I get up and try again,
Cause I don't want to quit...

The enemy whispers in my ear,
"Just give up and die";
But as long as You are with me,
I cannot help but try!

This journey is ongoing,
There is just no end;
But it will be worth it all,
When you come again!

I look forward to my home,
In that city bright and fair;
So help me, Lord, with every step,
Until I'm with You up there...

"FIGHTING MY BATTLES..."

Lord, I've always been strong,
When hard times came my way;
When people did me wrong,
I'd come to you and pray...

I'm going through a lot right now,
And I feel that You're not there;
I'm getting weaker, Lord,
I wonder, do You even care?

I can't go on without You,
This battle's way too tough;
I need Your tender healing,
For me, that is enough...

So I stand upon the promise
That only by Your grace,
I will win each battle,
No matter what I face...

Please help me to stay strong,
In everything I do;
For I can do all things,
If I get my strength from You .

When sickness overtakes
My. body and soul,
And I question if
You exist at all...

Lord, please forgive me
For being so weak:
Help me to trust,
And your face to seek...

Lord, help me to rest
In your strength alone:
I can't do anything
When left on my own...

I have so much to do,

I go to work as usual,
I try to concentrate;
I watch as the hands on the clock
Purposely make me wait...

You fill my head with memories,
Seeing you isn't enough;
If you listen to my heart,
You'll know that I'm in love...

With every beat of my heart,
I feel our lives become one;
You are the sunshine in my life,
My comfort when day is done...

Life is sweeter now,

How does he know
I haven't been praying?

Who told him about
The thoughts in my head?
How does he know
About the cruel things I've said?

This church is weird -
I don't like it so much!
Yet, there's a place in my heart
He seems to have touched...

Does this sound like you?
Then you are convicted...
Surrender to God,
And be committed...

No one said anything,
But only God knew.
He wants to transform you,
And make your life new!
