Israeli Ambassador’s Visit – Ambassador Roi Rosenblit reaffirmed strong diplomatic ties, highlighting Israel’s contributions, including pig farming and agricultural projects, while discussing future collaborations.

Chess Grandmaster – English chess grandmaster is is on a mission to establish a Marshall Islands Chess Federation. He showcased his skills by taking on 20 players simultaneously and calling on the community to join the movement and compete in the Pacific Micro Games.

The Ministry of Health and Human Services continues efforts to promote HPV vaccination across the RMI to address high cervical cancer rates. A health campaign at the track and field also provided flu shots and health screenings for blood pressure and diabetes.

Kwajalein Atoll commemorated its 81st anniversary with a ceremony recognizing its resilience and significance. Officials also announced a coastal defense project for Ebeye. Event organizers, including Chairman Junior Harry and Clerk Robert Nenam, expressed gratitude for the community's support.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, in partnership with the RMI Scholarship Office, is hosting sessions to connect Marshallese citizens with international scholarship opportunities. The next session is scheduled for February 18 at the PSS Conference Hall.

At the same time, efforts to raise awareness on the importance of mental health are being strengthened, and with ongoing support for those in need through a donation drive. Additionally, Miss Pacific Islands will visit the Marshall Islands on January 11th 2025, celebrating the unity and strength of our Pacific community.

From personal milestones to cherished memories with loved ones, 2024 has been filled with unforgettable moments for the people of RMI.

And of course, the Filipino vs Chinese Basketball Championship was epic! The energy, passion, and friendship was made as teams battled for glory.
