Guyanese are anxious to know what the PPP has up its sleeve, they are anxious to know if Aubrey Norton will do what US President Joe Biden did by putting a candidate who his party believe is electable, the voters want to know if Dexter Todd is enter active politics and they want to know if Glenn Lall or Azruddin Mohamed are really getting into politics and if yes, whats the hold up with making the announcement formal.
Dexter Todd- It is believe that Attorney at Law Dexter Todd comes with a clean slate, no baggage and maybe, just maybe, the PNC may do itself some justice by asking him to lead their ticket into the elections of 2025.
Glenn Lall- Newspaper Publisher Glen Lall seems to be interested in going for political office, if so and at what level is yet to be seen.
Azruddin Mohamed- Many seem to be looking towards Mohamed as their option away from the PPP and PNC but are unsure if he is really getting into politics.
The momentum and interest which were generated over Mohamed seems to be dwindling as the days go by in the absence of a formal announcement about his intention to get into politics or not.
What both Glen Lall and Azruddin Mohamed should know, is that Guyanese don't play when it comes to certain things, If you plan to contest the polls for the position of CEO of the land then let the people know.
You either go in and win or lose. Simple as that. What both and Lall and Mohamed should understand also, is that if they fail to get into politics at this stage after sexy-ing up the nation about a possible indepent or joint ticket only to sit this one out, it will be a missed opportunity and they may never be able to command this level of public interest in the future should they come again with an apparent interest to enter politics.
For the voters, as it is now, your options remain the same... PPP, PNC or AFC,
Pick your poison.
