Stabroek Square To Get a Christmas Upgrade — With Zero Vendor Displacement.

The Ministry of Local Government is transforming the Stabroek area into a clean, safe, beautifully designed public space without displacing any vendors.

This upgrade is happening only where vending does not take place, and construction will last just under two weeks.

When completed, shoppers, vendors, commuters and artistes will all enjoy a raised floor, benches, lights, decorations and a shared community space — all just in time for Christmas.
