Dear Contestants,

The judging process for the competition has now officially commenced. The results of the preliminary round are scheduled to be announced on December 30, 2025. We kindly ask all participants to await the outcome patiently.

The official list of first around finalists and finalists will be announced following the results release. Individual notification emails will be sent to the email addresses used during registration. Please ensure you monitor your inbox closely.

We extend our sincere gratitude to every participant for your support and dedication. We look forward to celebrating the journey of music with you!

We are delighted to announce that the preliminary registration for the 4th Hong Kong International Flute Competition has now officially closed.

This edition has become our largest to date, with outstanding participants joining from over 𝟏𝟓 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, including:
Mainland China, Hong Kong (China), Macau (China), Chinese Taipei, Australia, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Portugal, Singapore, Switzerland, the United States, and more.

We extend our sincere gratitude to every flutist who participated and contributed to this meaningful musical milestone.

We are heartbroken by the severe fire incident in Tai Po. We extend our deepest condolences to the victims, the injured, the firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty, and all those who have been displaced from their homes.

Our hearts are with everyone affected during this difficult time. We wish the deceased eternal peace and the injured a speedy recovery.

We also express our utmost respect to every firefighter, emergency personnel, and volunteer involved in the rescue efforts. We are deeply grateful for their immense courage and selfless dedication in the face of danger.

We pray that rescue operations proceed smoothly, the situation is soon stabilised, and all affected individuals receive the care and support they need.
