One of the iconic sounds walking around Hong Kong is the shuffling of mahjong tiles in shophouses or the flats above. It’s a common sight also to see uncles battle it out over Chinese chess; slamming pieces with aggression or the agony of defeat often followed by the moans of their homies giving their 2 cents. Some things never change!
