At Balmoral this afternoon, Queen Elizabeth II passed peacefully on Thursday at the age of 96, as announced by Buckingham Palace.

Queen Elizabeth II was the monarch of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. She assumed the title of Queen in 1952 after her father's death and reigned for more than 70 years until her death on Sept. 8, 2022, making her the longest-reigning monarch in British history. She was also the only female member of the royal family to have entered the armed forces and served in World War II.

"We should take comfort that while we may have more still to endure, better days will return: we will be with our friends again; we will be with our families again; we will meet again."

As of May’s Cover Story, we met with KENNETH CHIU, Hong Kong’s first professional baseball player who represented Hong Kong in countless baseball competitions. He was the youngest member to be chosen for the Hong Kong National Baseball Team in 2008 at the age of 16.

Sharing his 25 years of journey in the sporting world, he tells his story of some of his ups and downs moments. Most importantly, he was able to capture the feeling of goodwill and friendship that baseball brought to him as a prolific pitcher. Full interview in magazine now!

The Met Gala 2022 returned to New York City this May with the theme “In America: An Anthology of Fashion”, focusing on an earlier America; most specifically the grandeur of the “Gilded Age”. Expanding on the defining 19th century evolutionary moments of American fashion, you may interpret the theme as a glamorous, massive wealthy period, but it is also a reminder of the income inequality that was hidden underneath the period of glittering on the surface.

Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Regina King and Lin-Manuel Miranda will be co-hosting this dazzling evening, filled with a sea of star-studded bash with ripples of gold to white, burgundy and pink mixed with colour palettes sparkling under the flashlights that lights up the New York City night.

This has got to be the greatest news for those who has been longing for gyms, beauty parlours and cinemas reopening for the first time in more than four months, not to mention, restaurants opening till 10 pm! Besides various art galleries gradually reopening such as the Hong Kong Museum of Art, Hong Kong Art Gallery, M+, that includes 13a New Street Art Gallery.

From a distance peeking through the floor to ceiling windows of 13a New Street Art Gallery, it was filled with a passionate crowd, appreciating the art of
‘Alpaca Land Group Art Exhibition”.

In collaboration with and a group of local artists, gallerist added NFT to the exhibition for the first time, while the theme Alpaca Land’s works are presented using NFT as a medium, hoping to connect the physical and virtual currency worlds for collectors to freely roam in reality and virtuality to enjoy art without restrictions.

One of Alpaca Land's creators and artists, , joined nine other artists including: using threads and lines to perfection, local fashion designer , youthful and energetic artist well-known to public , .c , young at heart with a healing effect, who is fond of creating art that captures the soul of animals , and , brimming of a young girl’s heart. There is also .likey famous for painting in painting, using clean lines outpulling of french romance and surreal photographer with over 160,000 followers on IG, blooming all in their own unique style at the exhibition.

Today in history for April 1, Eternal Leslie Cheung – Canto-pop icon, actor and LGBT pioneer lives forever in our hearts

I will never forget the very day of April 1st 19 years ago, when the news of Leslie Cheung Kwok-Wing passed away hit me. I was in high school and every word echoing down the hallway was about this shocking news. Everyone hoped to believe it was all a joke, only it wasn’t.

Leslie was only 46 when he left the world, ending his life after suffering from a long battle of depression. Throughout a 26-year career from 1977 until his passing, Cheung lived an incredible life — he was a Canto-pop icon, an award-winning actor recognised around the world and an LGBTQ+ pioneer.

He was one of the most prominent pioneers that shaped the identity of Cantopop during the 1980s and became known for his flamboyant, bold stage appearances. Cheung also released over 40 big hit music albums which many die hard fans knowing every word to every song, not to mention he had also starred in 56 films, achieving widespread recognition as an actor.

He played a womaniser longing for the return of his estranged mother in Director Wong Kar-Wai’s Days of Being Wild (1990), which won him Best Actor at the 1991 Hong Kong Film Awards. Other work such like A Better Tomorrow (1991), Rogue (1986), A Chinese Ghost Story (1987), Farewell My Concubine (1993), He's a Woman, She's a Man (1994), The Phantom Lover (1995), All’s Well, Ends Well (1997), and Inner Senses (2002) recognised for his portrayal of diverse characters in the film industry.

Today, on the anniversary of Cheung’s passing, many loved ones pay tribute to this incredible Hongkong Superstar “Gorgor”, a life that touches others goes on forever.

Moon Knight, starring by Oscar Isaac, is an obscure character who suffers from dissociative identity disorder, one of the most sadistically violent heroes of Marvel. He works as the Punisher, a bloodthirsty mercenary, and for the newcomers, Moon Knight, has decades of comic book history to tell his story.

Happy International Women’s Day!

This day marks a call to action to raise awareness about women's equality, lobby for accelerated gender parity, celebrate women's achievements, and especially how far they have come in the fight for their rights politically, culturally, and socially.

IWD began in 1908 when 15,000 women engaged in a New York City march, fighting for fair working hours, better pay and the vote. A year later, the Socialist Party of America marked the anniversary of the march by declaring it the first “National Woman's Day”.

And did you know that purple, green and white are the colours of IWD? “Purple signifies justice and dignity. Green symbolises hope. White represents purity, albeit a controversial concept,” stated by the International Women's Day website.

Let us take the time and come together to celebrate women's achievements!
