P.S. Merry Christmas! 🎄

For me, no matter how short a video is, importante ang continuity. Gusto niyo bang malaman kung bakit? Comment “WHY”. 😊

“𝗘𝗸𝘀𝗸𝗮𝗿𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻” 𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗶 𝗸𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗴 𝗯𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗸𝗼. 🥹

I was browsing old videos in my phone because I was looking for throwback clips to post, since hindi pa ako nakakapag-shoot ng bagong content dahil maulan. Then I happened to stumble upon this video of me and my family during my birthday last year.

And this sudden realization hit me—𝘸𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦.

We were happy with what we had, pero looking back, may mga bagay pala akong hindi ko namalayang nami-miss noong bata ako.

Minsan, sapat na yung may pagkain sa mesa, may lakad kasama ang pamilya, may pictures at videos na babalikan someday, at yung simpleng feeling na “Uy, birthday ko… and I get to celebrate it with the people I love.”

Ito ba yung tinatawag nilang “𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙮 𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙”?

Siguro.

Maybe healing my inner child means giving myself the little things I once thought were only for other kids.

𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦, 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘱—𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳.

Kaya kung may mga bagay kang ginagawa ngayon na parang “ang babaw naman,” pero somehow makes the younger version of you happy… GO!

Because of them, I get to experience a little “glimpse” of being a mom. 🥹🐾

Yung kailangan mong pakainin on time, alagaan kapag may sakit, pagsabihan kapag makulit, at lambingin kapag matamlay.

They may not call me “Mommy,” but somehow, they made me understand what it feels like to love someone so deeply, selflessly, and unconditionally.

Maybe I don’t get to experience motherhood in the way I once imagined yet, but because of them, I get to experience a little piece of it. And honestly, I wouldn’t trade that kind of love for anything.

I love you with all my heart, Chimmy, Bam, and Boo. 🤍

𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲.

Because resilience should never be an excuse for things that can still be changed.

And maybe, being resilient doesn’t always mean learning how to survive the storm.

Sometimes, it means having the courage to ask why we keep getting caught in the same storm in the first place.
