Dickie Suzuki is a multidisciplinary artist based in Hong Kong. He revels in the city’s romanticised cinematic beauty, capturing the gritty side of its streets. He aims to encapsulate a dreamlike era by presenting subjects that linger intriguingly in time and space, revealing the rich storytelling and cultural heritage found when one digs deep into the zeitgeist of Hong Kong.

Having resided in Hong Kong since the early 1989 as a professional Creative Director, Dickie possesses a deep understanding of the city's intricate dynamics. During the Covid pandemic of 2020, while seeking to keep his creative eye honed during downtime, Dickie picked up a photography camera. This fuelled his wanderlust and allowed him to explore many undiscovered spots, deepening his love for the city he calls home.

Earlier this year, he participated in the "Colours of Hope" Charity Art Exhibition organized by Children of the Mekong for the French May 法國五月. He is currently featured in a group show at the art studio rare.weg.

Jasmine Leung and Davis Tong are the founding designers of the CHAOS, which embraces nature’s imperfections and finds beauty in chaos. Nestled in Hong Kong, their brand seamlessly fuses sustainable design principles, such as upcycling and reconstruction, with traditional craftsmanship and innovative technology to craft eco-chic styles. By utilizing natural and regenerated fibers, they are committed to conserving biodiversity and promoting a more sustainable future.

Jasmine has worked on design and production projects for theatrical performances both locally and internationally, as well as for high-end fashion brands. Drawing on influences from art, film, philosophy, and culture, her designs reinterpret gender aesthetics and focus on creating smooth, flawless silhouettes. Notably, she was a finalist in the Redress Design Award 2023 and reached the semi-finals in both 2021 and 2024. Her collection was featured at “Juxtaposed 2023” in Bangkok, organised by the Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association (HKFDA). Additionally, “le FANTÔME ?…” collection by the CHAOS was presented at the Fashion Summit HK 2024.

Their creations can be seen at two exhibitions:

Chinese photographer Kechun Zhang unveiled his latest photo series, “Yellow Land” and “The Sky Garden”, at La Galerie - Paris 1839, on view until 24 January 2026.

The “Yellow Land” delves into the beauty of desert landscapes, captured in Dunhuang, Gansu, traversing the Qilian Mountains, the Qaidam Basin in Qinghai, Heidu Mountain and the Gobi Desert.

Inspired by Zhao Ji’s Emperor Huizong of Song and the legendary Genyue Royal Garden, as well as the skyward gardens created by Nebuchadnezzar II from the Babylonian Empire, “The Sky Garden” embodies a year’s worth of meticulous shooting by Zhang. This “garden suspended in the air” is a profound representation of Zhang's exploration of the interplay between modernity and tradition.

The exhibition also features a selection from Zhang's photographic journey, including “The Yellow River”, “Chinese Landscapes” and “Between the Mountains and Water”.

The Hartz Project presents “In Mist”, a duo show by Korean artist Goyona Jung and Paris-based Chinese artist Yang Yi, on view at Gaia Art Space Hong Kong until December 27.

Yi’s landscapes are delicate visions that oscillate between what is visible and what lies beyond. Goyona’s faceless figures subtly capture the quiet shift between presence and absence.

Allow yourself to drift into the mist, an undefined space where thoughts shimmer, memories blur, and the unseen becomes hauntingly alive.
