//我喜歡emo是因為它毫不歉疚地表露情緒。現實生活裏，我們經常為自己的情感找理由、道歉，但在emo音樂裏不用。你可以很戲劇化，很誇張，表現出你根子裏是甚麼人。然而，歌曲裡的柔軟與敏感，令我有別其他類似的男性音樂人，他們的表演也許充斥著某種男子氣概的張揚──「怕了吧？少來惹我！」之類的，但對我來說，表演徹徹底底是關於sensitivity。

What I like about emo is it’s unapologetically emotional. So often in life, we have to qualify our emotions and apologize for them. In emo music, you don’t. You can be totally melodramatic and over-the-top, and if that’s what you are, that’s what you are.
The fact that my songs are really soft and sensitive is what sets me apart from a lot of other men who do this style of performance because I think a lot of it is like machismo. “Be intimidated by me, be scared, see how strong I am, I’m a badass,” blah blah. But I think what differentiates me from other people who perform in this style is that my performance is all about sensitivity.//

COMMUTED

過去10年，加拿大音樂人／表演藝術家 COMMUTED 足跡踏遍全球的DIY空間、游擊場地與秘密聚點，逐漸凝聚一群低調而熱切的追隨者。他的演出難以被簡單歸類，只有十分一的時間留給舞台，其餘的或許是在場館外的工程車上，或許被淋滿茄汁芥末，或許鑽進空間每道縫隙。他每到一處，都留下印記，悄然滲入各地DIY社群的血肉裡。

他的音樂粗獷而滿載情緒，意在推倒牆壁，同時坦露脆弱。至今發表的6張專輯，包括今年備受迴響的《Life Is Hell》，把政治張力編進breakbeats的脈動，鋪展細膩的情感紋理。每場演出，都像一齣節奏精準的獨幕劇。

Over the past decade Canadian performance artist / musician COMMUTED has developed a cult following in DIY spaces, squats and secret locations all over the world. Known for an idiosyncratic performance style where only 10% of his time is spent on stage, he’s been doused in ketchup and mustard, performed on construction vehicles outside of venues, explored every nook and cranny of each space he’s arrived at and left a mark on DIY communities globally. Beyond that, his raw, emotional music is made to bring walls down and expose vulnerability, with 6 LP’s including this years acclaimed “Life Is Hell,” a politically charged array of breakbeats and emotional song writing, each performance is set like a narrative paced theatre piece.

inablankat人在九龍，在臥室製歌，往往以結他音牆為溫床，讓電子碎屑和邊緣聲響滋長蔓生，織就私密的夢境地貌。她遊離於瑣事叢林和意識警崗途中，細聲和振振有辭之間，嘗試織造一個不存在疑慮的地帶，想著別讓語言偷竊思想，或被經驗殖民心靈。
（但最後又想迎接所有回來找她的鏢…但是…但是…但是）

inablankat lives and creates from her bedroom, where walls of guitar noise serve as fertile ground for electronic fragments and fringe sounds to take root and sprawl, stitching together an intimate landscape of chaotic dreams.

She moves between forests of distraction and watchtowers of awareness, between murmurs and declarations, seeking to weave a territory untouched by doubt, a space where language does not interfere with thought, nor experience settle as colonist.
(And yet, she wants to catch every dart that comes back seeking her…seeking her…seeking her…)

高架橋上列車再次呼嘯而去，聲波在重新編碼過的夜晚彈跳，撞上新舊材料拼成的立面。街角的語氣變得客氣而昂貴，印刷字體在招牌上磨得光滑發亮。地面仍然擁擠，仍然嘈雜，仍然冰冷，外賣紙杯堆在路邊欄杆上像一串隨時會斷的白色泡沫。城市在這裡向上長、向外擴、向內擠。有人在夜裡加班，有人在夜裡搬家，有人在夜裡百思不得其解，為何像你一樣聰明的孩子會任由生活擺佈。

The train howls over the viaduct again, the waves of the sound ricocheting through an algorithmic night, striking facades sutured from old and new. On street corners, every turn of phrase grows polite, tagged and priced. The fonts on the signboards have been polished to a glow. And the ground remains crowded, remains loud and cold. Takeout paper cups pile along the roadside railings like a string of white foam about to snap at any moment. Here, the city climbs, unfurls, and tightens. Someone is working late at night, someone is moving houses at night, and someone is trying, at night, to loosen a mystery, asking why clever children like you would let life shoulder them aside.

The Crush 於 2021 年在香港成立，以後龐克的粗粝、盯鞋的迷霧與實驗性的鋒芒，交織出一面顆粒分明的聲牆。樂隊成員包括子朗（主唱）、Hin（結他）、Kuro（貝斯）、Wilson（鼓），他們將幽暗與憂鬱化為一種奇異而激昂的氣質。其音樂如同一次宣洩之旅，沉落之際，卻留下一道未說破的明澈。

隨著全新主唱子朗加入，他們於 2025 年 10 月 31 日宣告重生並發行全新 EP《Samhain》。

Formed in 2021 in Hong Kong, The Crush weaves a sonic tapestry of post-punk grit, shoegaze haze, and an experimental edge. The band—Tze Long (vocals), Hin (guitar), Kuro (bass), and Wilson (drums)—channels darkness and melancholy into a strangely uplifting vibe. Their music is a cathartic journey, embracing the heavy stuff but always pointing toward light.

With Tze Long, the new vocalist, they released a brand-new EP Samhain and announced their rebirth on 31 Oct 2025.

the four-track demo EP is a perfect blend of twinkly guitars, heavy riffs, desperate screams, and jazzy trumpets marinated within the meticulous flair of a lo-fi production that certainly punches above their weight.
clocking in at just under 10 minutes, “demos from the ronne ice shelf” is seemingly a concise yet well-crafted biography of the bands’ favourite discographies, hauling a fresh perspective of jazz-inspired skramz into a city desperate for something new; something raw; something unprocessed.
