Jazz in Berlin: Sunday's record collection: Today, a beautiful Rudy Vallee hit from the 1930 film "The Vagabond Lover." This week Colin features the multi-instrumentalist Adrian Francis Rollini. He mostly played the bass saxophone, piano, and vibraphone, but in the 1927 recording we’re spinning this morning, he’s playing something that looks like a sax with loads of buttons down the front and making a very different sound. We’re also travelling through time with Erskine Hawkins, The Kalin Twins, The Spanials and the man who clearly had a massive influence on Spike Jones, Mr Freddie ‘Schnickelfritz’ Fisher!
