The Tung Wah Group of Hospitals ( ) 155th Anniversary Flag Day took place on August 20, shining a light on the theme "Boundless Kindness". Chairman Ho Yau Kai unfolded the day’s highlights, with local artist Thomas Napoleon’s creations standing out – six paper flags in fresh watercolor, each capturing ’ efforts in healthcare, education, social services and beyond, all linked by a 155th-anniversary ribbon to symbolize collective charity strides.
The event drew warm support: nearly 10,000 volunteers signed up, including students from 55 affiliated schools and members from over 100 enterprises. A "155th Anniversary Gold Flag" was specially prepared for donors as a meaningful keepsake. Meanwhile, social media activities – from fun clips to games and quizzes – invited public participation, with limited souvenirs like foldable totes and magnetic power banks waiting to be won.
Ho called on the public to join in, stressing that donations would fuel ’ social welfare and education services, helping extend care to more in need and truly live out the "Boundless Kindness" spirit.
