Don’t miss a world-class Italian orchestra performance in Hong Kong! From 28 February to 1 March, Italy’s astounding operatic treasure, Orchestra of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna, will be making its anticipated Hong Kong debut at the 53rd Hong Kong Arts Festival, bringing a series of operatic masterpieces to the city, led by maestro Donato Renzetti, one of Italy’s most celebrated conductors. Hailing from Bologna, a UNESCO Creative City of Music, the Orchestra of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna represents over 60 years of extraordinary musical tradition, steeped in operatic history and the city’s vibrant culture.

Expect dazzling arias and duets by Gioachino Rossini at the Opening Festival Concert on 28 February, as well as a Family Choice Concert on 1 March, featuring the kids-friendly “Mother Goose Suite” and operatic excerpts by Rossini, Puccini, and Donizetti.
