Congrats to Ambassador on his bronze medal for the 3000m open water swim at the World aquatics masters championships in Singapore last week. He competed against 20 swimmers in his age group. Well done!

Congratulations to Founding Honorary Advisor on being inducted to the International Swimming Hall of Fame at the award ceremony in Singapore during World Championships week. Anthony has staged various fireside chats and swim clinics in Hong Kong to motivate young swimmers to build resilience, discipline and a support community. He also gave out copies of his inspiring book “Chasing Water” after his talks. We look forward to welcoming Anthony back to Hong Kong in 2026.

Ambassador was the honorary MC for the Liverpool FC x Standrad Chartered Global Private Bank fireside chat on July 23 proudly sponsored by Standard Chartered. He attended the July 25 Grand Reception with CEO Esther on July 25 to autograph and photograph with the LFC stars and the Standard Chartered Leadership Team. What a privilege to have met the legendary Sir Kenny Daglish in superb form at the age of 74.
Good luck to LFC this weekend at the tournament at Kai Tak Sports Park.

Ambassador Sam and Dennis .dennislui are joined by Para Swimmer Ava to engage in a Sunday Sharing Session moderated by CEO at the soft opening of - a brand new youth creative and culture hub blending sports, the arts, tech, culture to empowerment youths and reignite the Lion Rock spirit within the community. Runway1331 is named after the Kai Tak Runway1331 (136 degree take off, 316 degree landing) which brings back fond memories of the most challenging aircraft runway in the world and the resilient Hong Kong mentality.

The 2600 youth hostel rooms here will be the hub for international university students, collaborative startups, youth incubations and sports and cultural events for the next five years.

I am so proud of the talented 14-yr-old daughter of my daughter’s godfather Weber - Hannah Lo - for being the newly-crowned lady champion of the Club. Partnering with the golf prodigy male club champ Frank Lo, the pair also effortlessly snatched the Sir Run Run Shaw Co-Ed Championship.

Congratulations to the two young champions. It was so touching to see your proud parents watch you receive the trophies on stage last night at the Annual Dinner. Thanks to the Club for the plethora of opportunities for deserving golfers to shine and for continuously sponsoring charity golf games such as the annual Save the Children Charity Golf Day that I am part of”.
