Grasp the final chance to register for the English or Mandarin Session of the Form 1 Admission Briefing (2025/26) of the YMCA of Hong Kong Christian College, which will be held this Saturday (12 Oct) from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm in their campus, for a thorough understanding of different aspects of the school, plus joining their school fair!

The government (Sustainable Lantau Office) will collate all the views collected from this preliminary consultation to help them with the next stage which is to develop and publish detailed proposals.
We encourage Lantau residents (either in South Lantau or who visit South Lantau regularly) to fill in the survey and submit any other additional comments in the form 🤗Submissions will be finalised by 5:00pm on Sunday July 28. South Lantau Buffalo Society has an ally in 6 year old India Holt who has found a way to raise money for South Lantau's water buffalo.

India's mom is South Lantau photographer Karen Holt and little India took two photos herself which are available for purchase at www.urbanearthmama.co

The two prints (12 x 9” or 24 x 18”) – Mama & Me and Nap Time – in the India and the Water Buffaloes series are available framed or unframed. Prices start at just HK$290, with all proceeds going to South Lantau Buffalo Society.

South Lantau Buffalo Society estimates that the annual cost for wound and tick-care medication and for feeding the water buffalo during the winter months is around HK$300,000. The position is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to excel in a busy publishing house, ideally with an editorial background.

Main areas of responsibilities include:
- Uploading content onto the two websites www.Arounddb.com and www.LifeonLantau.com
- Knowledge of WordPress for uploading website banners would also be ideal
- Managing the site including the online business directory
- Adding live content on a daily basis to our social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
- Sending monthly newsletters to our mailing list
- Helping our clients with their online sponsored content on the website, social media and emails (EDMs)
- Assisting the editorial team with content in print and online including news stories, interviews, editing
- Managing monthly competitions/giveaways
- Ideally a self-starter
- Excellent command in English written and spoken
- Passion for social media and publishing
- Familiar with Adobe Design Software
- Good understanding of IT and problem solving / troubleshooting
