【Ear Up Music Global 18/19宣傳設計獲頒Astrid Awards 榮譽獎項】

客戶們的肯定和讚賞不斷提醒著我們，作為設計公司，不應只單顧設計的美觀性，更要虛心聆聽，盡最大努力以專業的設計滿足客戶需求。去年，我們很榮幸與不同客戶合作，給他們構建精彩的作品。在眾多作品當中，「搶耳全球音樂演出及交流計劃 2019」的設計有幸獲得2020年Astrid Awards非牟利組織類別的榮譽獎項 (Honour Prize)，為我們的設計之路再次立下重要的里程碑，同時對我們的能力給予肯定。

Our clients’ recognition and appreciation constantly remind us not to only focus on beautiful designs but cater to our clients’ needs and be humble. It is our great pleasure that our design crafted for Ear Up Music Global 18/19 had won the 2020 Astrid Award Honour Prize in the Non-Profit Organisations category. 【書藉設計】

設計最叫人雀躍的一環是能夠實驗不同的設計元素，創造出帶有美感的成品。以《品味遊・壹》為例，我們以三個立體正方體拼成代表品味遊的「品」字 ，並使用燙色印刷，內頁則搭配鮮黃色的剪影圖像和圖案，突顯品味遊貫徹的極緻風格，寓意讀者能藉此書體驗以不同角度切入的非凡旅程。

The most exciting thing about design is that we can experiment with different elements to deliver the most aesthetically pleasing result. For the Luxe Travel Book, we used three foil-stamped 3D cubes on the cover to represent the Chinese character “品”, the acronym for the Chinese name of Luxe Travel Limited. Together with the canary yellow silhouette graphics and patterns throughout the whole book, the design captures the brand’s mission to offer its customers exceptional journeys with diverse perspectives.

【不一樣的設計】

免稅雜誌或許看上去都是千篇一律，但其實每一家航空公司的機上雜誌都各有特色，在設計上別出心裁呢。例如，澳門航空的空中購物雜誌中，我們從澳門航空的標誌汲取靈感，以「蓮花」作為其雜誌的其中一個主要設計元素，大家若細心留意，便會發現封面及內頁都有這個「蓮花」圖案的出現。另外，澳門曾是葡萄牙的殖民地，街上的葡式磁磚隨處可見。因此，我們以淡淡的葡式磁磚花紋作內頁背景，商品標籤的設計亦參考了葡式磁磚的形狀和花紋。這樣的設計能讓讀者們感受澳門的特色，同時提升品牌影響力。

The designs of duty-free catalogues may all look the same to you. But trust me, each airline’s inflight shopping catalogue comes with its own distinctiveness and there’s much more to its design. Here’s what we did for Air Macau’s Air shop: We drew inspiration from Air Macau’s logo, and created a lotus-shaped key design element for the cover and the content to help enhance the brand’s prescene. We also applied the patterns of iconic Portuguese-style tiles onto the magazine and created a set of special labels based on the patterns, giving the readers a touch of “Macau uniqueness” when they flip through the pages.

不少客戶都會遇到印刷上的難題，例如「我該選用甚麼紙張材質？」、「為什麼成品的顏色與預想中的一樣嗎？」、「有甚麼訂裝款式可選？」等。事實上，要對每個印刷工序了如指掌絕非易事，所以，我們除了提供設計服務，亦提供印刷管理服務，幫助客戶解決印刷技術、特效加工、紙張運用、印刷程序、色彩管理等方面的問題，確保成品以完美的姿態送到客戶手上。

Many clients find it difficult to deal with printing problems, e.g. "What kind of paper should I go for?", "Will the screen colour match the printed colour? ", "What types of binding are there?". It is no easy task to get a solid grasp of printing. #產品發佈會 給客戶介紹新產品，對未來市場產生重要影響，而我們作為設計公司的職責，便是創作精彩美觀的視覺作品，吸引媒體及目標受眾對品牌及產品的關注。MSD 的產品發佈會為治療丙型肝炎的新藥Zepatier而設，我們以斧頭作為主題，以煥然一新的風格應用於活動各項設計，感覺時尚不會過於前衛，同時保持活動的專業性。

events are a smart marketing move to get people to know about a new product. It’s our job to provide this type of event with creative solutions that build a strong brand experience and impress the guests. For MSD Zepatier Product Launch in Hong Kong, we offered a new insight into the medication by using a hammer to represent how powerful the medication in treating chronic hep-C. The design was modern, futuristic and eye-catching without going over the top to match the nature of the event.

【校刊設計 School Newspaper Design】

校刊記錄著學生們美好的校園回憶，亦是給外界好好了解學校的渠道之一。校刊的設計大多結合引人入勝的文字及多姿多彩的校園照片，配上充滿活力的配色及設計元素，讓讀者更容易掌握內容外，亦能感受校園生活的趣味。正如我們為香港城市大學設計的City Upbeats，設計生動，當中用上漸變色彩的圖形，以襯托學生們的活力。

School newspapers not only capture the memories of students, but also let people learn about what's happening around the campus. The designs of this type of publication are mostly vibrant and energetic, bringing together captivating texts and lovely photos, to create an engaging reading experience. This rule applies to what we did for City Upbeats, the school newspaper of City University of Hong Kong. A myriad of colourful shapes with round corners and gradient headers are used to reflect the growth, youth and energy of the students.
