Poland’s avant-garde trailblazer Song of the Goat Theatre reimagine Shakespeare's King Lear as a hypnotic oratorio – no straight drama here, but a ritual where music morphs into raw emotion, relationships, and theatrical chaos. Co-founder Grzegorz Bral directs this multi-sensory poem through soaring songs that weave tragedy’s fabric with vocals and movement, stripping the work to its the soul in minimalist power. This triple-award winner at 2012 Edinburgh Fringe (Scotsman Fringe First, Herald Archangel, Musical Theatre Matters) has toured Europe and Asia – now debuting in Hong Kong.
