What goes on inside the mind of a tax lawyer-turned-whistleblower in the biggest heist in European history? ‘The Insider’ is a pulse-pounding 3D soundscape theatre experience that drops you into the heart of the €53 billion Cum-Ex tax fraud scandal, told through the lens of its conflicted protagonist.
Award-winner of The Scotsman Fringe First Award in Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2023, this critically acclaimed production from Denmark’s Teater Katapult is part psychological thriller, part financial horror story. Think The Wolf of Wall Street meets American Psycho. An immersive audio journey pulses through your headphones, while mind-bending visuals projected on a glass box transport you across time and place. This gripping live performance will leave your conscience rattled.

Directed by Johan Sarauw and written by Anna Skov Jensen, ‘The Insider’ is based on real events and the testimony of the German State’s crown witness. This production is a story of ambition, greed, and fatal decisions. Let’s hear what greed sounds like.
