【 Rebranding | Top Blade Steak Lab 】

Established in Hong Kong since 2017, Top Blade Steak Lab has been renowned for its premium steaks, creating a warm and quality dining experience for every customer. "Quality steak for all" remains at the heart of their mission. In this rebranding project, we aims to reposition Top Blade Steak Lab, revamping the visual identity system to reflect a high-quality yet playful image. The redesigned branding will ensure consistency from online to offline platforms.

Inspired by the concept of "connection and imagination," the new design retains the signature winding lines, transitioning from a bright yellow to a sophisticated Medium Red. With simplified lines and symbolic illustrations, Top Blade continues to be a place that connects steak enthusiasts, offering a delightful dining experience for all.

Top Blade Steak Lab 自2017年在香港屹立至今,主打高級牛扒。Top Blade 的創立,原意是打造一個高質而富人情味的扒房,讓每位顧客都能愉快地品嚐高質牛扒餐。Quality steak for all。 這次項目重點是要為Top Blade重新定位,調整品牌視覺識別系統,帶出高質且富趣味的形象的同時,確保這形象從線上至線下都能貫切如一。

設計靈感來自「連結與想像」的概念,沿用舊有的繞線特色,用色由鮮黃改為Medium Red,以簡化線條和具象徵性的圖案展現出Top Blade的核心價值。Top Blade 是一個連結牛扒愛好者的地方,亦是富趣味的鋸扒好去處。

今年為望月設計的新年賀禮包裝,靈感來自書畫中的春天風景,設計以新古典風格揉合水墨與大自然中的花鳥松魚。
透過帶詩意的視覺語言,展現春天到來時生機勃勃的光景,象徵新一年充滿生機與希望。

以中式年花作題材蝴蝶酥系列,分別用上菊花、芍藥和桃花,送上寓意長壽、富貴和人緣的祝福。

Inspired by the spring landscapes depicted in traditional paintings, the design blends neoclassical style with elements of ink painting and nature, such as flowers, fish, pines, and birds.

透過帶詩意的視覺語言,展現春天到來時生機勃勃的光景,象徵新一年充滿生機與希望。

This year, we are honored to design a series of Chinese New Year gift packaging for Patisserie La Lune.
Inspired by the spring landscapes depicted in traditional paintings, the design blends neoclassical style with elements of ink painting and nature, such as flowers, fish, pines, and birds.
Through a poetic visual language, it showcases the lively scenes of spring’s arrival, symbolizing a new year full of life and hope.

曲奇系列插畫的展現著春天湖邊的風景。
在春光明媚的時分,漣漪下自得其樂的鯉魚悠遊其中。繁花盛放的水面上,蜻蜓翩翩掠過,宛若在花間輕舞。
The illustration for the cookie gift box series portrays the scenery of a spring lakeside.
In the bright spring sunlight, carp swim joyfully beneath the ripples. Across the blossom-covered water surface, dragonflies gracefully skim, as if dancing among the flowers.

【 Beans月光寶盒|月餅系列 】

「但願在那最想停留的時空,陪伴那最想守護的人。」

這次的 Beans 月餅系列包裝靈感來自《月光寶盒》的故事,設計選用竹製外盒配以海棠花玻璃,帶出一份不可替代的樸質情感,穿梭古今。封套設計巧妙融合了水墨元素與簡約圖形,描繪月亮與地球相映成趣,象徵兩地的重逢;並以星軌勾畫出時間的痕跡,捕捉過去、現在與未來重疊的一瞬間。在此時此刻,相聚中秋。

"May we stay in the moments we cherish most, with those we wish to protect the most."

This year, we designed mooncake packaging for Beans Cafe. The inspiration comes from the movie “A Chinese Odyssey”. The box design combines bamboo and vintage glass with begonia flowers, evoking a sense of timeless simplicity and bringing out the memory of old Hong Kong. The envelope packaging design features a blend of ink art and circular motifs, symbolizing a reunion across distances. Star trails trace the passage of time, capturing the overlapping moments of the past, present, and future. In this moment, we come together to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.

【 We are in European Product Design Award! 】
新年期間得到攝影師 Chris Wong 通知,"Chrysalis Silk Treasures”設計項目在 European Product Design Award 中,贏得PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY, Packaging Product Design Photography的獎項。收到消息後我們非常興奮,亦很感恩設計項目在國外得到認可。回想當時為了讓作品好好紀錄,特意找Chris幫忙,大家費盡心思就是想讓包裝上值得欣賞的細節拍下來,以圖象說故事。

Chrysalis Silk Treasures包裝設計是以「化蛹成蝶」為主題,象徵美麗的蛻變過程。產品外盒以高級紙材製作,低調紺藍散發奢華質感。盒外側角暗藏靜待羽化的蠶蛹,線條細緻優雅,盒內色彩嬌豔的蠶絲輕皺,就如蛹化鳳蝶,展現美麗的蛻變。

We are thrilled to announce that our design project, "Chrysalis Silk Treasures," has won awards in the PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY, Packaging Product Design Photography categories at the European Product Design Award! We received the exciting news during the New Year period thanks to the photographer Chris Wong . We are truly grateful for the recognition this design project has received internationally.

It was a memorable experience working with Chris, his professional photography skill help us capture the artwork in the best possible way. Showcasing the beautiful details of the packaging through photography and tell a story through images.

The packaging design for Chrysalis Silk Treasures revolves around the theme of transformation, symbolizing the beautiful journey from cocoon to butterfly. The outer box is made of Classic Crest® paper by Heiwa Paper, giving off a luxurious feel with its subtle navy blue color. The corners of the box hide silkworm larvae, waiting peacefully to emerge. The delicate and elegant lines of the larvae and the vibrant colors of the silk inside the box depict the stunning metamorphosis of a butterfly from its chrysalis.

【 CUHK Faculty of Social Science Info Day 2023 】
中文大學社會科學院於2023年10月21日舉辦了一年一度的開放日活動,旨在向學生介紹升學資訊及社會科學院的課程內容。

整個設計項目範疇包括活動標識、印刷品、攤位展板、校園佈置。同時我們秉持著「無紙化可持續發展」的理念,設計了T10活動管理系統,學生可透過系統輕易建立個人化Info Day日程表。📆

今年的活動在萬聖節前夕舉行,因此大膽地以「乜鬼係社科」為主題進行設計,其中我們創作了16隻可愛的「鬼鬼」代表不同學科👻,這些「鬼鬼」在中大校園內無處不在,引領著前來學院的年輕人一同探索社會科學院的學科奧秘。透過與「鬼鬼」的互動,大家可以更深入地了解社科學院的學科特色。😃

The Chinese University of Hong Kong's Faculty of Social Science held its annual Information Day event on October 21, 2023, aiming to introduce students to admission information and the curriculum of the Faculty.

The project involves design of event identity, promotional materials as well as booth and campus decorations. Embracing the concept of "paperless sustainability" we developed the T10 event management system, allowing students to easily create personalized schedules for the Info Day. 📆

This year's event took place on the eve of Halloween, and we boldly designed it around the theme "Social Science is..." As part of the design, we created 16 adorable "ghosts" representing different disciplines 👻, which could be found throughout the CUHK campus, guiding young visitors to explore the mysteries of the Faculty of Social Science. Through interaction with these "ghosts" participants could gain a deeper understanding of the unique features of the Faculty's disciplines. 😃
