A woman wants to feel chosen.
Fully.
Publicly.
Consistently.

Not compared.
Not competed with.
Not fooled.

If he needs other women to validate him, he doesn’t love you.
He loves attention.
And attention is not commitment.

Love is loyalty when no one is watching.
Anything else is just performance.

It still messes with my head sometimes.

How the same man who promised to protect our home…
provide for our family…
be my safe place…

was the very one destroying it quietly behind my back.

That’s the part that hurts the most.
Not just the loss but the contradiction.

Because I had no idea.

I showed up for him.
I admired him.
I defended him.
I fought for him when things were hard.
I believed in him when he doubted himself.
I stood beside him thinking we were building something real together.

I trusted that we were standing on the same ground.

And then you find out they were holding the match the whole time.

You trust someone with your life.
You build a future with them.
You believe you’re on the same team.

And suddenly the person you felt safest with becomes the source of the pain.

If you’ve ever looked back and thought,
“How did I not see it?”
“How did the person I trusted most become the one who hurt me?”

You’re not naive.
You weren’t stupid.
You weren’t blind.

You were loyal to someone who wasn’t.

And there is nothing weak about believing in the person you built a life with.
There is nothing shameful about loving fully.
