Joseph Turner and John Constable engaged the natural world through contrasting lenses shaped by their personalities. Turner's introverted and independent spirit, marked by extensive travel, gave rise to dramatic and often exotic scenes, while Constable's rooted, family-focused life inspired intimate portrayals of the English countryside close to home. The long-standing tradition of English landscape painting is given fresh attention in the Turner and Constable exhibition at Tate Britain

Dada and Surrealist artist Man Ray and his signature rayographs are on show in the exhibition Man Ray: When Objects Dream at The Met. More than sixty examples of camera-less photographs that transform found objects into haunting silhouettes and ethereal tones are on show. This experimental process reflected Man Ray's fascination with chance, spontaneity, and the artistic potential of the everyday. By reimagining ordinary items into abstract compositions, he reshaped how art could be made and perceived. Viewing these original works today offers a glimpse into the restless inventiveness that shaped modern photography and influenced generations to come.

Yuan Blue and White: New Discoveries from Jingdezhen features over 400 objects that narrate a story of trade, craftsmanship, and cultural exchange across the ancient world. This exhibition at the Art Gallery of the Chinese University of Hong Kong focuses on blue-and-white porcelain, a ceramic style that revolutionised pottery forever. Interestingly, a considerable part of the exhibition showcases pottery shards and incomplete vessels. Instead of only displaying perfect artefacts, the conservation team decided that these imperfect items offered valuable insights into both their history and their modern significance.

“Leave the everyday behind, get away from the well-known and well-trodden and reconnect with something unspoilt in Western Australia” was an invitation to an awesome adventure. From the city of Perth to the Perth Hills and the acclaimed Margaret River region there was plenty to sightsee and fine food and wines to taste. The journey began with a flight, just under seven hours long, and then landing in the exact same time zone as Hong Kong. It was an absolute marvel to see the plane's route on the live flight map, taking a direct path due south to Perth.

Hong Kong's first exhibition of treasures sourced directly from Egyptian museums, featuring works from seven institutions, including the Egyptian Museum in Cairo and recent finds from Saqqara are on show at the The Hong Kong Palace Museum. Ancient Egypt Unveiled: Treasures from Egyptian Museums features more than 250 artefacts spanning 5,000 years. Why does ancient Egypt still command fascination? The obvious answer is that cat mummies are cool, pyramids might be extraterrestrial, and hieroglyphics are as beautiful as Chine
