Salam!
DAY 1 OF 61 β A HEART FULL OF GRATITUDE π€²π
Alhamdulillah⦠today marks Day 1
of my 61st year of existence.
I look back with a heart full of
gratitude to Allah for every year, every
blessing, every lesson, every joy,
and even every hardship that has shaped
the woman I am today.
I am deeply grateful to my late parents,
the late BONSUAN J. LEE and
Hadja JORDANA βConjayβ R. LEE,
who raised me and taught me to be a
good person.
To my siblings, who in their own ways
showed me different sides of life and
helped shape the person I became.
I am also grateful for my own family,
the people I love with all my heart.
My children and grandchildren are among
the greatest blessings Allah has
entrusted to me.
My greatest wish is to have more
years to live, love, guide, watch over
them, and see them grow into good
and kind human beings.
And today, I also want to give special
thanks to my habibi, who has played an
important part in my life for the past 41
years of our married life. π
Thank you for your patience and
understanding as my husband, and
for being by my side through the many
seasons of our lives.
We were never a perfect couple.
We had our ups and downs, our
misunderstandings, our difficult
moments, and our challenges. But today,
I can honestly say with a grateful heart:
We survived. We stayed. We made it this far. β€οΈ
Through all those years, I have
come to appreciate the man you ar,
a good man, a principled man,
kind-hearted, a good father, a good
provider, and a good and loyal friend.
Our journey may not have always
been easy, but it has been ours.
And for that, I am thankful.
I pray that Allah continues to bless our
marriage with good health, safety,
understanding, patience, and a peaceful
βΊοΈ relationship. May He allow us to
grow older together with more kindness
in our hearts and more appreciation for the
years we have shared. Ameen. π€²
At 61, I know I am still a work in progress.
There are still things I want to learn,
improve, and discover about myself.
I still dream of becoming a better content
creator, not simply to create beautiful things,
but to finally express the thoughts, feelings, experiences, and stories that I have
kept inside for so many years.
Perhaps this is one of the beautiful
gifts of growing older:
we become less afraid to speak
from the heart.
I want to use my remaining years to
share not only memories, but also
lessons, kindness, love, and hope.
If something I say can touch even one
Lheart, make someone smile,
give someone courage, or remind someone
that they are not alone, then I will be grateful.
And beyond myself and my family,
I have one prayer that comes from
the deepest part of my heart:
May Allah grant peace to the entire
universe. ππ€²
May love and kindness live in the
hearts of everyone.
May we learn to understand one
another before judging one another.
May we choose
compassion over anger,
forgiveness over hatred,
and peace over conflict.
And may humanity find its way back
to love and understanding before
the world .π π
61 years lived.
41 years of marriage.
A lifetime of memories.
A heart still full of dreams.
And a soul still hoping to make a little
difference in this world.
Alhamdulillah for 61 years.
Alhamdulillah for my life!πππππππ
May Allah grant me many more
years in good health, peace, love,
and faith, and may
Allah continue to bless the people I love.
Ameen Ya Rabbal Alamin. π€²π
With Much love,
πΉBonchita π·
