Proverse Hong Kong (Publishing Prose and Verse) Proverse Hong Kong Proverse Hong Kong is based in Hong Kong with expanding regional and international connections.

The International Proverse Prize for book-length Unpublished Non-fiction, Fiction or Poetry and the International Proverse Poetry Prize (single poems of no more than 30 lines) are each open to all, 18 years old upwards, irrespective of residence, citizenship or nationality. The Publishers were born in the UK and have lived and worked in many countries. They visit, from time to time, Australia, Europe, Japan, Mainland China, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the USA. Occasionally we help distribute in Hong Kong books published elsewhere, which have topics, references, or associations with Hong Kong or other parts of Asia. We welcome enquiries for co-published editions.

The Proverse Spring Reception will take place on Tuesday, 28 April, 7.00pm-9.00/9.30pm in Central Hong Kong. We will launch three books and announce the finalists for the International Proverse Prize 2025. We will hear from the two authors of single works and poetry readings from some of those awarded a place in "Mingled Voices 10" the Proverse Poetry Prize (single poems) Anthology 2025. Tuesday, 29 April, 7.00pm-9.00/9.30pm. Garden Road, Hong Kong.
Fee: HKD198: includes entry and complimentary canapés. Cash bar.
