If you plan to join the course in October, text us to arrange a trial.
This course is designed for children aged 9–17 who show a strong interest in AI coding, possess good critical thinking skills, and are naturally curious—always eager to explore and do more.
AI coding is only at the beginning of its evolution. It started in 2022 when OpenAI launched ChatGPT. With the ability of Large Language Models (LLMs) to answer questions logically, AI has exploded into almost every aspect of our lives. It is no longer a "nice-to-have" skill—it is a must-have skill for the younger generation and their future.
Three Phases of Learning
Explorer
Learners will code with Python, JavaScript, HTML, and MySQL (databases). They will then publish their final outcomes with a unique link on their dedicated Docker Space. Learning with real server space and deployment facilities ensures learners experience the authentic use of their coding outputs.
Builder
Learners will attend a test. Upon passing, they are promoted to Builders. Builders will design projects using AI frameworks. This level trains learners to design real applications, from simple to comprehensive final products. They will learn how to convert voice to text, use AI tools to analyze and produce expected outcomes, convert images to text, generate ideas with simple AI tools, and perform multi-tasks.
Innovator
The most talented learners will be further promoted to Innovator. Here, they will learn sophisticated AI logic such as Function Calling, LangGraphs, and ESP32 with C++ to control devices using AI commands.
About the Course Designer
The course was designed by Dr. Khoo, who currently serves as a Master's Degree Course Lecturer teaching AI in Education at The University of Hong Kong. He started in 2019 under the invitation of several school principals during the pandemic. Since then, his Sundays have been spent solely on developing the interests, skills, and platforms to maintain student engagement. This group of students has remained with Dr. Khoo every week—now for over seven years.
Throughout this period, the platform has undergone continuous improvement:
Web-Based Code Editor – Solves the problem of installing coding libraries on individual computers with different configurations.
AI Code Marking System – When students submit their coding homework or projects, the system automatically verifies and highlights errors, providing hints to guide them until the code is correct. This feature has greatly cultivated students' critical coding skills.
Many more features have been developed since.
