Hvar is a unique fusion of Mediterranean nature, ancient cultural, and mundane tourist life style. In the past it has been an important harbor, while today it is the tourist center of the island and one of the top destinations in Europe and world. Each year it attracts more and more tourists from the rich and famous to the backpackers on their first sailing adventure. It is a town to everyone’s liking. The Royal Alcázars of Seville, is a royal palace in Seville, Spain, built for the Christian king Peter of Castile. It was built by Castilian Christians on the site of an Abbadid Muslim alcazar, or residential fortress. The fortress was destroyed after the Christian conquest of Seville in 1248.The palace is a preeminent example of Mudéjar style in the Iberian Peninsula, combining Romanesque, Gothic, and Renaissance structural elements. The upper stories of the Alcázar are still occupied by the royal family when they visit Seville. It was registered in 1987 by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, along with the adjoining Seville Cathedral and the General Archive of the Indies. Numerous filmings have succumbed to the seductive power of its halls, courtyards, fountains, gardens. It has been the kingdom of Dorne in the Game of Thrones series. A population of royal peacocks lives in their hundred-year-old gardens.

Our first visit to Split, Croatia in the summer of 2022 was absolutely exciting. Split - is the second-largest Croatian city after the capital Zagreb. Apart from being one of Croatia's most popular "island hopping" outlets, Split will delight you with its historical richness and colourful city centre. Considered to be one of the most imposing Roman ruins, Diocletian's palace dominates the city's historic core. Here are few pictures that I clicked during our visit to Split!!! 🧡💙
