Imagine Korcula Inspired by life on an island "IMAGINE KORCULA" is a project that will present beauty and attractions of the town and island of Korcula.

We also think that the island and its people still live in a harmony with each other and we want to show you how we do it. Focused on the best that the town and island offer “Imagine Korcula” strives to develop the content of the highest quality. We hope that the inspiration we find in Korcula will inspire somebody else to experience Korcula.

Yesterday, Carla Bruni Official IG profile shared "Before The Sunrise" reel in their story. It means a world to us to be recognized for our work by such an artist.

I'll write again what I wrote on yesterday's post : "Emotional, sensual and life - inspired, Carla Bruni's wonderful "Quelqu'un m'a dit" gives a whole new life to our video."

Re - posting our video gave us light on the darkest day in the year. Thx again Carla Bruni , we are honored :-)

Every Sunday in July and August shows selected movies distributed by "Kino Mediteran".

In the coming weeks, one of the award winning videos by "Imagine Korcula" Project is going to be screened before the feature movie.

We are more than grateful for their support and opportunity given to independently produced promotional videos about Korcula and Croatia.

"M Y T H I C A L"
Press Release Pt.2:

"The video is promoting the Island of Vrnik, one of the islands in the Archipelago of the Island of Korcula, Croatia.

The Island of Vrnik is known for its thousands-of-year-old stone quarries that are a (missing) monument to the labor and skills of the generations of the local people. Stones from the quarries were used in the construction of towns on Korcula Island, the town of Dubrovnik, the region of Dalmatia, Croatia and abroad. Since the mid-20th century, quarries have been abandoned and nature has taken them over. The island used to have a population of 150, an elementary school, churches and its own identity.

Today, only 2 - 3 people live year - around on the island. The little community has been under pressure from the growing number of tourists during the summer season who sometimes even enter their courtyards and houses in complete oblivion of entering somebody's homes.

Filmed completely in the quarries except for the final drone scenes, the video invites visitors who are interested in history, local culture and heritage to explore and to discover, to go off the beaten track.

In fact, to find a link to life once existed on the islands of Vrnik and nearby Korcula."

We dare to say that Island of Korcula is like no other place and our mission is to make videos that clearly show the difference(s).

We believe video promotion in Croatian tourism has a room for videos like this one and we know there is an audience that appreciate them as such.

Skygorilla Media again filmed lots of magical shots and edited them into 2 smooth minutes of, we dare to say again, a Croatian tourism promotional video like no other!

We are more than grateful that accepted to be a part of the video and helped us to make it happen.
