Tijekom posjeta vinariji Babich Wines na Novom Zelandu, svjedočili smo neobičnom, ali genijalnom načinu zaštite vinove loze: autonomni robot koji se vozi među redovima i pušta glazbu kako bi otjerao ptice.

Bez mreža, bez kemikalija, bez buke – samo tehnologija i održivost u službi očuvanja grožđa.

Još jedan sjajan primjer kako se u suvremenoj proizvodnji vina inovacije i priroda mogu savršeno nadopunjavati.

While visiting Babich Wines in New Zealand, we witnessed a unique approach to vineyard protection: an autonomous robot, moving through the rows and playing music to keep birds away.

This innovative solution helps protect the grapes without using nets or harmful deterrents – another example of how technology and sustainability go hand in hand in modern winemaking.

The real power of the 𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗛𝗬𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗗 lies in its adaptability.

It functions under aerobic or anaerobic conditions, with or without pressure. It can support simultaneous fermentation in both wood and steel – and, with the turn of two valves, combine those fermentations at any stage, before or after completion.

Need even more flexibility? You can connect multiple HYBRID systems in series, creating a continuous fermentation flow.

This is more than a fermentor. It’s a tool for reimagining winemaking workflows – reducing interventions while preserving the purity of the wine.

Meet the 𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗛𝗬𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗗 – the first-ever custom pressure wooden fermentor paired with a stainless-steel pressure tank and perforated filter.

This innovative system is designed for the making and aging of white and red, still and sparkling wines, all without added additives or preservatives.

Its dual-material design is more than just technical novelty. It represents a shift in how fermentation can happen: controlled, flexible, and adapted to each winemaker’s vision.

With HYBRID, we’re not replacing tradition – we’re expanding it.
