A new edition of the Forbidden Dance Radioshow is coming to RADIO.D59B

This time we’re joined by TAJA / ᴇʟᴇɴᴀ (DJ Taja) with a live recording captured in Florence during an Angis Music event, where she opened the night for French producer Life Recorder.

Recorded during the warm up slot, the mix unfolds patiently through deep house, soulful grooves and subtle rhythms, letting the dancefloor come to life naturally, one record at a time. It’s a beautifully paced selection that proves the art of opening a night can be just as rewarding as closing one.

This month’s Forbidden Dance Radioshow welcomes a very special guest from Japan.

Born in Tokyo and raised in South London, DJ FU has been making waves with her eclectic approach to house music, blending the sounds of Chicago, New York and Detroit with unmistakable UK influences. A familiar face behind the decks at Tokyo institutions such as WOMB, VENT, Enter Shibuya and Oath, she’s also taken her sound to cities including Melbourne, Hamburg and beyond.

On 30.06 from 14:00 16:00 CET, she’ll be taking over the airwaves with an exclusive two-hour selection of house music.

Hook & Cook Festival teams up with Forbidden Dance Records for a summer opening gathering at the beautiful Boho Bar poolside at Delfin, Rovinj. Saturday, 20.06.2026.

For this special occasion we invited residents Ilija Rudman and Antonio Žuža, alongside Hook & Cook all-stars and friends: Laseech, Legalize Lambada, DJ Petko, DJP and Oliver.

Expect a specially prepared DB Soundsystem, custom light show, sunset by the pool and a long warm dance into the night.
