Sretan Uskrs,svima!
Zašto su zečevi zvijezde Uskrsa? Nisu samo slatki! Evo 3 divlje činjenice o zečevima i njihovim rođacima:
1️⃣ Zečevi su brzi kao munja: Zečevi (poput polarnog zeca) trče 70 km/h—brže od Usaina Bolta! Spremni za utrku s pisankama! 🏃‍♂️

2️⃣ Pike su rođaci zečeva: Ove male “stjenovite zečice” skupljaju sijeno za zimu i ne hiberniraju.
Uskrsna priprema? 🪨

3️⃣ Zubi koji uvijek rastu: Zečevi imaju zube koji rastu 12 cm godišnje, pa stalno grizu sve oko sebe! Zamislite četkanje za Uskrs! 😬

These big cats can leap 7m straight up—higher than a double-decker bus! Weighing up to 100kg, they rule the Americas’ wild spaces. 🌄 "

🐆 Pumas pack a punch! With a bite force of 4000 kPa, they crush bones of prey like deer (up to 120kg). These silent stalkers roam 80km² territories in the Americas. 🌄

🐾 Pumas leap 7m, but pole vaulters come close! Elite athletes clear 6.27m (men’s record) or 5.06m (women’s) using a flexible pole. Olympic champs hit 6.25m in 2024. 🌟 "

Sova ušara je noćna ptica, a gnijezdi se na liticama, u špiljama i kamenolomima – teško ju je vidjeti, ali lako čuti 😉 Zato nam uši (i oči!) volontera pomažu 💙 Zahvaljujući čak 97 volontera, u sklopu građanske znanosti obišli smo 118 lokacija, a ušara je zabilježena na 72,88% njih! 🥳
▶️ Brojnost joj je porasla za gotovo 20% u odnosu na prošlu godinu 🙌
▶️ Posebno se istaknula Dalmacija, gdje smo prvi put uključili i otoke!

Sad kreće drugi dio monitoringa – pratimo koliko će se ptića izvaliti ove godine! 🦉
