Hello guys !
We have decided to answer some of your questions in order to better introduce ourselves and explain what our label consists of.
1- Who is Samsara Music ?
Samsara Music is a Franco-Croatian partnership, with a registered office located in Split-Croatia, as well as a second administrative office located in the south of France.
This partnership was created to allow artists to perform in countries around the world around a private circuit.
Members are :
- The Label Director is : Barbara Ivicevic
- The Managers : Kevin Mistretta and Eric Lam
- Sound engineers : Yaouen, Laurent Martin and Antoine Dufour
- Cameraman : Dmitry Lisenko
- Photographer : Yaouen
The languages spoken are Croatian, English and French.
The 12 Artists signed : Antoine Dufour, Don Alder, Adrian Bellue, Van Larkins, Karlijn Langendijk, Michael Kobrin, Gavino Loche, Kevuan, Justin St Pierre, Ali Deniz Kardelen, Oscar Mendez and Dmitry Lisenko.
2- What are the missions of Samsara ?
Samsara has connections on the 5 continents of the globe, and should establish by 2023, a circuit for the artists of the label, of about 10 countries... and 15 countries in 2024.
The artists will be present at Concerts, Festivals, Guitar Camps, Guitar Nights, Home Concerts and Masterclass / Clinic all over the world.
The goal is to create a unique community with a common goal, that of connecting music with animal and environmental protection.
As for the general public, various management, mixing and professional career development services will be offered.
3- How do you protect nature with music ?
There are so many ways to be engaged !
Already by its way of life ... example, 50% of the artists of the label are vegetarians and vegan, soon 60% with the newcomers.
Secondly, there are a lot of activist artists like Dmitry Lisenko, Van Larkins, Kevuan, Gavino Loche, Karlijn Langendijk etc ...
As for the others, they are just as involved by their desire to change things with us and in the missions they have to carry out.
4- Activist artists, really ? Isn't it more marketing ?
No, it's not marketing at all, because we have nothing to sell.
And yes, activist artists ! For example, Dmitry Lisenko performs several volunteer assignments per year. Like helping to preserve sea turtles, or even the fight against bird poaching in Europe.
Dmitry is also a diver, just like Kevuan, and both collect plastic waste in the Mediterranean, Adriatic and on the beaches.
Kevuan is a member of several associations for animal protection, and is himself president of the TARA association in France, as well as a student in marine biology.
Van Larkins is the Koalas' Ambassador to Australia for the protection of species. He also participates in reforestation missions in his country.
5- What kinds of missions will the artists have to do ?
Clean up plastic waste in forests and on beaches, help associations for the medical care given to animals (marine animals, endemic species, birds, sometimes dogs and cats).
But also the flora (coral, posidonia, endemic aquatic & terrestrial species). Give charity concerts, participate in the realization of projects and awareness missions through video clips and meetings with people.
Each year, Samsara will organize a mission with 3-4 members of the label on different continents, such as Africa, Europe, North America, Australia etc ...
The year 2020, it was the musicians Don Alder, Justin St Pierre, Dmitry Lisenko and Kevuan who were present for the 1st mission, on an island in South Africa, called "Reunion Island".
They were present as a volunteer to clean the beaches, help associations for cetaceans, sea turtles, birds, conservation expeditions of endemic species, support for the SPA and gave 2 charity concerts ... and this, long before for signing with us !
This is yet another proof of their commitments.
This mission was organized by the Tara association, and everything was filmed to make a short film that will be released in 2022.
