Next up in the Sounds Nice series is a beautiful mix from .

We first met (one half of Mooch) at his house in Dalston a few years ago when we were introduced via our housemate, Tom (.jacquessss ). I (Charley) actually had my feet firmly up on the sofa, ready for a quiet Friday night in, when Tom convinced me to pack a bag of tunes and head over to his friends for the night. We instantly hit it off, and the records were flowing. Next thing we knew, it was 6 am and we had been locked in on the tunes all night.

Since then, we’ve shared many dance floors with and Louis, and it only felt natural to welcome them onto the series.

Now that December is here and the colder months are fully upon us, we thought it would be nice to release a reminder of Summer: an hour of deep house goodness from two of the loveliest fellas.

Our next release marks a milestone: the first time the label has opened its doors beyond . We’re extremely happy to welcome our good friends .________ & .

The Revival EP nods back to late 90s house and tech house, and are more than simple emulations, these tracks were specifically engineered to capture the authentic feel, sound and spirit of those records. Written, recorded and mixed at studios in Manchester over 18 months, the EP was produced with a fully period-accurate workflow.

No plugins were used, only the same hardware, processes and techniques that producers relied on back then. Years of research and setup went into building this system, making the project as much a labour of love as it is a record. The result is four tracks that could easily be mistaken for lost cuts from the era, but made today.

Massive respect to Goutham & Jeremy for the dedication that went into this project. It was a pleasure working together and we couldn’t be happier with how it’s turned out.

If you’re into deep, dubby house, chances are you’ve already stumbled across Flavio’s YouTube channel. And if not— make sure to go check it out. It’s filled to the brim with classy selections and you can rely on every upload being a tasty treat.

We had the pleasure of hosting Flavio to stay with us at NBN HQ in London last year, and it quickly became clear that he’s not only a serious digger, but also one of the loveliest people about. So it felt only right to invite him to put together a mix for us.

We’ve been running the label for 5 years now, so this feels like a really nice celebration of that milestone. Like always, some different moods and flavours in there for different times of a night, but all with the dancefloor in mind.
