This piece originated as an idea inspired by the fantasy folklore of "tavern" music frequently found in RPG-based video games. Despite encountering unexpected production challenges in attempting to create an even more realistic timbre on the virtual instruments used, my familiarity with Hearthstone's trading card game music from my student days enabled me to perceive numerous instrument groups and their roles in achieving the characteristics of this genre. Through experimenting with virtual instruments and layering techniques, we were able to successfully finalize the piece's orchestration, character, and arrangement methods used to enhance certain motivic elements typical of this style. Dedicated to a friend who owns a board game store (Svarogs Den), this music perfectly captures the adventurous spirit of the unknown and the desire to explore fantastical worlds. 🧙‍♂️🌳🧝‍♀️🌿🧌🌋

This track was one of those unfinished projects lurking around my PC's hard drive. I remember my friend coming over to have some fun producing in my studio when he brought me this Brazilian style sample so I've decided to give it a spin. Mostly, the beat was inspired by a couple of my favorite boom bap artist/producers Brock Berrigan and MF Doom. Therefore I couldn't resist but to dig for some random dialogues found on the internet and twist them in a way the conversation topic reveals a funny back story. I will leave it for you to figure it out.

Za ovogodišnju čestitku, Mateo i ja pripremili smo vam Jazz aranžman Chrisa Whitemana pjesme "White Christmas"!

Mateo je svojim trudom u samo dvije godine pohađanja satova gitare napravio mnoštvo iskoraka te stekao vještine potrebne za izvođenja skladbe ovakvog tipa. Uz mnogo "jazzy" hvatova i obraćanja pozornosti na "flow" i dinamiku, uspješno smo savldali izazov pripremiti ovaj "cozy" video uradak do Badnjaka, kako bismo vam u duhu klasičnih jazzy vibra koje adventsko doba sa sobom donosi, zaželjeli čestit Božić i sretnu Novu godinu! 🎅🌲🧑‍🎄

This track originated from a Celtic Folk inspired acoustic guitar idea played by the composer. Since the author of the piece envisioned it to represent a soothing and timeless feeling one attains in the midst of a forest during spring time, the piece was accordingly produced in by adding different sounds indicating where this story takes place. Our special guest who joined us on the project was charged with recording 5 different Viola improvisations which later on were edited and blended to resemble a playful melody complementing the dynamics and structure of the song.
