Teo Harouda

Teo Harouda DJ / Producer Teo Harouda is a dominant force in
Southeast europe techno. Techno with blurred borders from the other Europe.

Originally from Croatia, he appeared at all the clubs and festivals in his country and the neighbouring ones, and is one of the most important DJs in this area. And, although what he plays is undoubtedly pure techno, his sessions have a special colour because of the expert way he mixes different styles ranging from the most melodic techno to industrial sounds, including techno loop and everything in between.

is one of the key names from Amsterdam's late-2000s techno scene.
His breakthrough came with releases like "Players" and "Siberian", and together with Bart Skils as District One, he helped define a generation of stripped-back, groove-driven techno.

For a few years in the early 2000s, a unique sound quietly emerged from Slovakia. People called it Offbeat Techno.

Unlike the classic four-on-the-floor techno of the time, many tracks broke the usual kick drum pattern, creating an offbeat, rolling groove that instantly stood out on the dancefloor.
It wasn't about playing harder or faster.
It was about rhythm, groove and movement.

Artists like , and labels like Olga+Jozef helped shape a sound that influenced countless DJs... yet today, almost nobody talks about it.

Over the next episodes, let's rediscover one of techno's most forgotten chapters.

I've been visiting Moondance for years as a raver. This year, I finally experienced it from the other side of the booth.

Playing in such a unique location, surrounded by an amazing crowd and that unforgettable summer vibe, was something I'll remember for a long time.

I'm especially proud that Moondance remains a 100% Croatian festival that has been pushing quality electronic music for so many years.

Thank you to the crew for the invitation and to everyone who danced with me. Until next time. 🖤
