AFTERMATH TAPES PROUDLY PRESENTS:

1st CST ever released from the mighty mid/late 80's UKHC scene!

AT. 014. RHETORIC "MOSH TROSH & GUZZLE"

This is the official repress of the self-released demo by the legendary UK CRUST band from Great Yarmouth, Norfolk in East Anglia, also known by their appearance on "Consolidation EP", together with their brothers in arms Deviated Instinct and Revulsion, released by their bassist/vocalist and co-founder Andy Smith's Pathway Records.

Originally self-released by the band in 1986, in only a few copies. Fortunately, one of them ended up for a review in Karlovac City for my friend's Dusko Buic ( Dule KLC ) zine Black Side. This is the reason why this release saw the light of the day, remastered by Ivan Jakic and pro-dubbed 150 white with black pad print in white covers with the sticker included!

Biography by Andy Smith:

Formed in 1985 by 2 school friends Andy Smith on bass and Paul 'Charlie' Harper on drums in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, UK. They were soon joined by Chris Alcock on guitar and Jim Box, on vocals and started to make a noise on the live circuit in 1986, with their first ever gig in Dover with the mighty Atavistic. Influenced mainly by Anarcho-punk bands such as Conflict, Discharge, and the likes, they embarked on many gigs throughout the UK, playing with the likes of Heresy, ENT, Electro Hippies, Ripcord, and Atavistic, to name but a few. Andy Smith left the band in 1988 to pursue other musical interests.

6th CST in Yugo Punk Classic Series!

AT. 013. Ženevski Dekret " Protest 1986-1988 "

This is the official discography of the legendary Yugoslavian Hardcore Punk band from Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina on tape - almost their entire studio material recorded before the war, remastered by Ivan Jakić and pro-dubbed 100 tapes in black with silver, and white with black pad print, in green and white covers.

This tape contains the first demo from 86' and the second demo from 88', all the stuff which was saved by the bass player's sister from the war-devastated city of Mostar.

The sound on the first demo on A Side is more in the UK 82/UK anarcho-punk vein, and the B Side is much rawer, influenced by the Finnish HC, early Metallica, and the UKHC sound with a Yugo punk touch!!!

Ženevski dekret is a well-known band from the 1980' Yugo HC scene, they were on various tape compilations like " Čudeža ne bo ",
"Krdo Slonova", " Rock and roll je ipak prošlost ", " Naša četica koraka ", on the cult "V/A Return of Yugoslavia " LP and on the VHS " NI STRAHU " from 1986 with Tožibabe, III Kategorija, Vrisak Generacija.. they shared the stage with all Yugo more and less known bands and they played across socialist Yugoslavia.

AFTERMATH TAPES Proudly presents the first-ever issue from across the Atlantic and the first issue in the second covid 19 the pandemic year of 2021.

AT.012 UNNATURAL SILENCE „ Unsilenced 1982-1983„ approved and remastered by the band members is the official tape discography of the legendary Canadian hardcore punk band from Penticton/Vancouver featuring their 20 songs raw assault demo on A-side, similar to North American Discharge image/sound like Crucifix, Diatribe, Final Conflict, Iconoclast, Unruled or Final Warning, but with a much rawer sonic annihilation sound like their European counterparts Wretched and Riistetyt and on B-side 5 songs from an unreleased 1987’ demo that is more in the vein of the UKHC and North American bands of the era like Subvert, Desecration or the first “Pain of Mind” Neurosis era mid-tempo political USHC with longer songs.

The tape features 25 songs,150 pressed white copies with a black pad print. The covers come with the gatefold sleeve containing exclusive flyers, photos, band bio and art from Myles Pedersen, the band guitarist.
