Our personal goal is to ensure that you leave Zagreb with the best Possible pictures and memories. Our tour is ideal for beginners to experienced photographers.

It will be like spending time with an old friend. We want you to feel like a resident of Zagreb, not a tourist. In order to achieve the most satisfying experience, the group must be small, four people maximum. Beginners can spend time working on composition and camera usage. Experienced photographers can race around the city looking at as many locations as possible, all timed perfectly so that the

light is optimal at each location. We leave nothing to chance. Everything is designed to give you the perfect photography experience. You will also hear about the history and culture of the city of Zagreb. There will also be crazy stories from experienced photographers about what we had to do to get the perfect photo. Zagreb is one of our favorite cities, so this tour is our way of playing with light and shadow in photography. The most scenic views and vantage points will be recommended to you before you begin your tour. With just the right amount of time, we'll show you every gem this city has to offer. Our mission is to teach creative ways of thinking about travel photography!

What an incredible day on our Zagreb Photo Safari! Today, we had the honor of hosting Mr. Chinmay from India, a renowned professional photographer and leader of real photo safaris in the wild jungles of India! 🌿🐅🐘
Meet Chinmay, capturing the essence of Zagreb with his lens! His expertise in wildlife photography truly brought a unique perspective to our urban safari.
Exploring the hidden gems of Zagreb. From the vibrant streets to the serene parks, Chinmay's keen eye for detail made every moment special.
Discussing photography tips and sharing stories from his Indian safaris. Did you know he takes tourists on adventures to photograph tigers, elephants, monkeys, peacocks, and more? 🐅

Darko the Magnificent, what a fantastic time we had on our photo safari around Zagreb. He was very helpful with tips and setting up our cameras. He was very organized in his route around Zagreb, getting us to the best spots for photos. He also took photos of us. Could not have asked for anything more. On our latest Zagreb Photo Safari, we were blessed with a beautiful winter day in January. J.C. and Ayden joined us for the adventure, each bringing their unique perspective to the tour.

J.C., already well-versed in photography, and Ayden, a budding beginner, added layers of depth to our journey. As the day unfolded, their enthusiasm and curiosity propelled them forward. From mastering the technicalities of the camera to honing their eye for composition, their progress was remarkable to witness.

Exploring Zagreb through the lens with the lovely Jean from Indonesia was an absolute delight! From the moment we connected, I knew it was going to be a special photo safari.

To kick things off, we indulged in the warmth of mulled wine, infused with the rich scents of cloves, anise, and cinnamon – the perfect prelude to our Zagreb adventure. As we strolled towards the upper town, we found ourselves immersed in the enchanting tapestry of Zagreb's New Year's Advent. The streets adorned with twinkling Christmas lights, the air filled with the tantalizing aroma of festive treats and more mulled wine.

Our journey culminated at the Croatian National Theater, a breathtaking sight illuminated against the night sky. Standing in awe, we captured the magic with our cameras, framing the majestic Nutcracker figures that seemed to come to life in the dazzling lights.

Capturing Beautiful Moments in Zagreb with Steve and Shara 📸

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting the lovely couple, Steve and Shara, on a recent Zagreb Photo Safari. Their enthusiasm for photography and adventure was truly contagious! 🌟

Shara, our budding photographer, was on fire throughout the tour. She eagerly grasped concepts of exposure and composition, capturing Zagreb's beauty through her lens. 📷 Meanwhile, Steve was the ultimate partner, offering unwavering support and companionship as Shara honed her skills. 🙌

Our day was filled with delightful surprises. We stumbled upon the International Folklore Fair in Zrinjevac Park, where we had the privilege of photographing a group adorned in vibrant folk costumes. 🌍🌿

But the excitement didn't stop there. As we ventured to Upper Town, we conquered the Lotrščak Tower, seizing the opportunity to photograph the iconic St. Mark's Church. Its distinctive roof, embellished with the coat of arms of the Triune Kingdom of Croatia, Slavonia, and Dalmatia, alongside the Zagreb city crest, made for a remarkable shot! 🏰🌆

Last night was an absolute blast as I had the incredible opportunity to lead a mesmerizing night photo tour through the heart of Zagreb on behalf of Zagreb Photo Safari! 🌆📷

We kicked off our adventure from the enchanting King Tomislav Square, and from there, it was nothing but pure magic as we ventured towards the charming upper town. The city's lights illuminated our path, casting a warm glow on everything in sight. ✨

But the true highlight of the evening was getting to share this unforgettable experience with Jonathan, a dedicated firefighter hailing all the way from Nevada. 🚒🔥 Jonathan may have had intermediate photography skills when we began, but his enthusiasm and passion for learning were truly infectious. 📚📸

Together, we delved into the captivating world of photography, diving deep into the intricacies of exposure, framing, and other essential techniques. It was an absolute joy to see Jonathan's skills grow right before our eyes. 🌟

Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia, has a rich history in the field of photography. The vintage era of Zagreb photography dates back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, when photography was first introduced to the city.

During this time, Zagreb was a hub for photographers who used various techniques to capture the city’s architecture, people, and way of life. Many of these photographers documented important historical events, such as the construction of new buildings, the opening of new businesses, and the arrival of foreign dignitaries.

One of the most notable photographers of the vintage era in Zagreb was Tošo Dabac. Dabac was a prolific photographer who documented the city’s everyday life and cultural events.

Had an enjoyable and fruitful experience being taught photography tips and skills on composition and framing, whilst made especially more exciting during daylight, twilight and night time, in the Charming Capital of Croatia. I chose the night photography tour as I needed to learn how to take better night pictures with my fixed lens Fujifilm X100 . Darko is extremely patient and generous with his time, and we both lost track of time, and way exceeded the 3 hours tour with many photo taking spots and practice. With his professional photography skills, Darko is a wealth of knowledge and generous to share his expertise, and taught me about ISO, aperture setting and shutter speed. As a beginner, I had a lot to learn and also had fun learning. Kindly remember to bring an extra camera battery and memory card. Also try to be familiarize with your own camera settings beforehand (if possible) as the platform is different for different camera brands / model. Download your camera user guide. I had to refer to it when when a troubleshooting icon appeared due to low exposure. >Helen Lim
