Čestitke svima🥳🍾❤️💪🏻!

Čestitamo Lea Djelmić na povijesnom rezultatu u preponskom jahanju u seniorskoj konkurenciji Balkanijade u preponskom jahanju koja se održala u Beogradu gdje je osvojila zlatnu medalju🥇.
Također čestitamo Patriciji Kardum na 🥇u konkurenciji amazonki i Indy Šimleša na 🥉u konkurenciji juniora i na kraju timu Seniora koji su bili ekipno🥈.
Natjecanje Balkanijada osnovano je krajem 70 - tih u jugoistočnoj Europi kao težnja za FEI natjecanja koja su se održavala u Zapadnoj Europi, za sve zemlje iza "željezne zavjese" koje nisu mogle uvijek sudjelovati na Zapadu. Tadašnja Jugoslavija bila je jedna od osnivačica te asocijacije.
U to doba Balkanijada je 1978. bila održana i na Hipodrom Zagreb. Jugoslavenski jahači sudjelovali su na natjecanjima, a pamte se rezultati Tanje Marušić u juniorima i kasnije Rajke Jurić u seniorima koje su osvojile 🥇. Od osnutka RH i HKS hrvatski jahači povremeno su sudjelovali na tom natjecanju, a jedan od pamtljivih rezultata bilo je 🥇 Mirne Bačić u kategoriji Amazonki 2010.
U Hrvatsku se to natjecanje vraća 2011. kada HKS i tadašnji K. K. Karoca organiziraju povratak natjecanja pod pokroviteljstvom tadašnjeg Predsjednika RH Ive Josipovića.
U razdoblju od 2011. do 2025. održana su još dvije preponske Balkanijade, jedna dresurna, jedna u vožnji kočija sve na Hipodromu Zagreb i ove godine 2025. održati će se Balkanijada u daljinskom jahanju u Istri po prvi puta. Predsjednik Balkanske konjičke federacije u 2. mandatu je gospodin Alan Andabaka iz Hrvatske koji je ujedno i član Izvršnog Odbora Europske konjičke federacije.
Vršiteljica dužnosti Izbornika preponske reprezentacije HKS za ovo natjecanje bila je Andrea Novak Djelmić
Danas je to natjecanje pod patronatom Europske konjičke federacije i priznato je od strane Svjetske konjičke federacije.

Just a quick update. Due to the major underworld issue in the equestrian industry that is abuse, sexual abuse, coercive control, domestic violence, intimidation, threatening young girls not to speak out for fear of never working in the industry again. I want you all to know that EQUISS UK (Equestrian Industries Safeguarding & Standards UK) is now registered and will be unveiled very soon. We will have a helpline manned by qualified staff & will be looking to help everyone that makes contact. Either to report an incident or tell your story. You are no longer alone.
Why am I doing this? Because I cannot unsee what I know is going on. Because I’ve got 2 young daughters in the sport. Because I’ve got so many friends with children being abused in jobs as riders, grooms, farriers and more. The problem is huge. It’s remained covered up for decades but no longer. Safeguarding in the equestrian industry is going to be front and central to every business, yard & centre and we need to take a stance on this vile behaviour. To sit down and do nothing is not an option. Our board of trustees are being appointed and include survivors of abuse, International athletes, Safeguarding & human rights experts. If you wish to tell your story or get involved then your voice will be heard.

Every victim & survivor has said to me they thought they were the only one in the equestrian industry that had been attacked or abused. Every mother that has called has said they thought only their child had suffered abuse. Shame has stopped people reporting these crimes. Fear of being shamed has stopped people confiding in someone. Please know that none of you are the only ones affected. There is help out there & you will be believed. Please don’t let it go unreported. Think of how many others may suffer. So much can be done to stop this abuse. If you are frightened then please know there is help out there. EQUISS UK will hear you, meet with you & believe you. Please don’t feel alone.
