BREAKING NEWS | راولاکوٹ میں عوامی دھرنا 80ویں روز بھی جاری، مظاہرین نے مطالبات دہرائے

راولاکوٹ (آزاد کشمیر): راولاکوٹ میں جاری عوامی احتجاجی دھرنا آج 80ویں روز میں داخل ہو گیا۔ مظاہرین کا کہنا ہے کہ شہر کے مختلف داخلی راستوں پر بڑی تعداد میں شہری اپنے مطالبات کے حق میں پرامن احتجاج جاری رکھے ہوئے ہیں۔
مظاہرین کا مؤقف ہے کہ وہ طویل عرصے سے کرپشن، بدعنوانی، ناقص انفراسٹرکچر، ادارہ جاتی اصلاحات، شفاف عدالتی نظام، گرفتار افراد کی رہائی اور مبینہ انسانی حقوق کی خلاف ورزیوں کے خلاف احتجاج کر رہے ہیں۔ ان کا مطالبہ ہے کہ کرپشن میں ملوث افراد کا احتساب کیا جائے، گرفتار افراد کو رہا کیا جائے اور حالیہ واقعات میں ہلاکتوں کی شفاف تحقیقات کر کے ذمہ داروں کو قانون کے کٹہرے میں لایا جائے۔
مظاہرین نے اقوام متحدہ، بین الاقوامی انسانی حقوق کی تنظیموں اور آزاد میڈیا سے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ وہ علاقے کا دورہ کر کے زمینی حقائق کا جائزہ لیں اور صورتحال پر غیرجانبدارانہ توجہ دیں۔

سی آئی اے سربراہ جان ریٹکلف کا خفیہ دورۂ روس، امریکی میڈیا کے مطابق ماسکو میں روسی حکام سے اہم ملاقات ہوئی۔ رپورٹ میں دعویٰ کیا گیا ہے کہ دورے کا مقصد روس کو نیٹو کے رکن ممالک پر حملے کے ممکنہ خطرے سے خبردار کرنا تھا۔

Islamabad Anti Terrorism Court
Today 30 accused were produced before the court
and a request for physical remand was submitted.
The lawyers argued that no significant progress or recovery had been made during the three-day remand and that the request did not provide any concrete reasons. In light of the court order dated the 20th the physical remand and identification parade had also become unlawful. The court was requested to discharge the accused due to lack of evidence.
The court has sent all 30 accused to judicial custody. We are now filing bail applications for the accused.
God willing the accused will soon be released from detention despite having no evidence against them.

Immediate Talks Needed to Prevent Further Loss of Life in Poonch

Rawalakot Tania Khan, Senior Vice Chairperson of the United Kashmir Peoples National Party, has expressed deep concern over the situation in Poonch, Baloch and Sudhanoti and called for immediate talks.
She said continued firing and shelling in Rawalakot, Baloch and surrounding areas had made the situation extremely alarming, with precious lives lost and people living in fear and distress.
Tania Khan said force could not provide a permanent solution and urged the government to immediately negotiate with protesters and other relevant stakeholders to reduce tensions and prevent further loss of life.
She said the people of Poonch needed peace and a political solution not further confrontation and reaffirmed that her party would continue its peaceful and democratic struggle.

British MP Imran Hussain Calls on Pakistan to Address Kashmir Situation
London British Labour Party MP Imran Hussain has called on British ministers to raise concerns directly with Pakistani authorities regarding the human rights and political situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir during the visit of Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister to the United Kingdom. The report was published by Labour Home on August 26, 2026.
Imran Hussain Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Kashmir, said that the concerns of more than one million Kashmiris living in Britain should have a prominent place in discussions with Pakistan. He expressed concern over reports of violence, arrests, communication restrictions, and disruptions to the supply of essential goods.
Hussain recently also wrote to the United Nations Secretary General a letter supported by more than 70 parliamentarians. The letter called for an end to bloodshed restoration of communications guaranteed access to food and medicines an end to alleged arbitrary arrests and the resumption of peaceful dialogue.
He said that the human rights of the Kashmiri people must remain central to any future solution to the Kashmir issue.
