seek:id - Lost in the City EP

We are excited to announce the release of seek:id’s new EP, Lost in the City!
The third track, “Addict,” has just premiered on Infernal Sounds.

We want to thank them for their continuous support and for giving the track its first spin.

This EP is a late-night journey through concrete streets, blending jazz-infused drums, dub-soaked bass, and a gritty energy. It’s a reflection of South London’s nocturnal soundscape and features a special collaboration with Delta.

João “Null” Oliveira began his journey into music production and mixing in his teenage years, constantly searching for a unique sound. His early influences were rooted in minimal, tech-driven deep vibes. However, it was his discovery of bass music—specifically DnB and dubstep—that truly resonated with him, providing the perfect medium to create music that speaks to his heart and soul.

Born in Almería, Spain, Ital:Gen began producing music in 2014 at the age of 12. He draws influence from genres including reggae, dub, jungle, dubstep, UK garage, and drum and bass.
His style ranges from militaristic UK dub to jungle and drum and bass, incorporating influences from jazz to abstract IDM. Having developed under the mentorship of Indalow Collective, Mystical HiFi, and currently Badawï Sound System, he has released music on labels such as SND SYSTM CLTR and Low Syndicate, and also runs his own label, “Gen Series.” He has performed at numerous events, sharing lineups with artists like Bukkha and Gorgon Sound, among others. On the third track of this EP, he collaborates with his longtime friend Oleksa, a Ukrainian-born, Spain-based neurofunk and hardtek producer, venturing into the 140 BPM territory.
