The core members of the EXILES label – composers who graduated from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music and the Faculty of Arts at the University of Pécs, alongside outstanding self-taught electronic musicians – will introduce Celer’s concert. Throughout the evening, each performer will musically interpret a stage of the grieving process: loss (elod janky), denial (Ábris Gryllus), anger (Juhász Tamás), bargaining (OOO), depression (Natalie Szende), and finally acceptance and liberation, concluding the program with Celer.

Natalie Szende is a Berlin–Budapest-based electroacoustic composer and sound artist. In her work, she creates spatial, cinematic sound experiences. Influenced by hauntological aesthetics, Szende’s multichannel compositions lead into liminal spaces where memory, texture, noise, and spectral presence subtly intertwine.

In 2026, she received the Carmen Mateu European Young Artist Award as part of a collective, and in the same year she graduates from the Liszt Academy of Music. A year earlier, her multichannel piece LLBY was awarded a scholarship to the IRCAM Academy through the Ulysses Network and was presented at Centquatre-Paris.

Szende has worked as a composer and sound designer on her first theatre productions at Deutsches Theater Berlin and Trafó House of Contemporary Arts. She also composed the score for the animated film Adgwa Ata, which will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival and is nominated for the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in 2026.

OOO, aka Márton Csernovszky, may be familiar from bands such as Szodé, Osaka Crack, Mordai, and Kinetic Erotic. As an experienced jazz musician and multi-instrumentalist, Csernovszky playfully mixes lighthearted yet melancholic melodies with heavy, metallic modular synths. He has also composed music for contemporary dance performances by Adél Juhász and Gergő D. Farkas, opened for Tim Hecker at Magyar Zene Háza, moreover, on his debut album (Sírversek I–VI, 2019), we can even hear Górecki-inspired ambient techno.

Juhász Tamás is an architect of haunted spaces and a long-standing member of the EXILES label, where his album Younger Days explored the corrodable nature of memory through synthesis and unstable analog grit. A resident host on the French-Belgian LYL Radio Tamás recently released Por City, a sonic mapping of the industrial and coastal landscapes of Marseille. His work serves as a tactile bridge between mythical echoes, underwater glitches, and the tolling of decaying bells.

Returning to the stage after a two-year hiatus, this performance marks a pivotal homecoming. Having spent his final days in France uncovering the sonic threads that bind him back to his Hungarian roots. Tamás’s most cherished performance remains a set in a grocery store at Bánkitó Festival, where the cashier lady threatened to vomit if his music continued for another minute. He intends to bring that same uncompromising energy to this upcoming appearance.

Ábris Gryllus composer and interdisciplinary artist, whose practice spans the fields of sound, visual media, and research-based artistic methodologies. His work explores the intersection of music, data science, and technology, often translating complex systems into immersive audiovisual experiences. He is known for wide-ranging collaborations with choreographers, dancers, and visual artists, creating music for contemporary dance, leading workshops, and presenting sound installations across Europe. His work moves fluidly between experimental music, performance, and installation. As a solo artist, Gryllus produces electronic music under his own name, with releases on labels such as , ’s The Death of Rave, Farbwechsel Records, and EXILES, including works like Canon, Post_, A.D., Nucleus of the Decay (2023), and Relent (2024).

elod janky, aka Alley Catss, is a Budapest-based experimental electronic musician and visual artist, founder of Daddypower Records. Since 2011, he has developed an eclectic style by blending ambient and abstract sounds with dance music genres such as techno, jungle, and juke, exploring themes of emptiness and theatricality within virtual and digital contexts.

yibai – Rianás II

Dávid Gerlei is a Budapest-based artist working under the name yibai, creating and performing experimental ambient with elements of postindustrial and contemporary classical music. His albums were released by EXILES, temporary nites, and Dióbél Records, and he has performed at venues and festivals including the Hungarian House of Music, Sziget Festival, Sharpe Festival (Bratislava), Kabinet Múz (Brno), and Fuchs2 (Prague). Apart from his solo project, he also composes for film and dance projects.
