Thrilled to share that the Californian production company Sa-Loan has enlisted my expertise for color grading scenes in their latest feature film, 'The Pushover.' This remarkable project, spearheaded by ABDUL T. SESAY - a talented Writer, Director, Producer, and my esteemed colleague - represents a cinematic endeavor of great importance. 'The Pushover' is a film I firmly believe should be compulsory viewing for everyone aged 16-17 and above. It delves into themes of respect, understanding, and forgiveness within the realms of family and relationships, offering profound insights that, I daresay, could have salvaged numerous relationships had they been exposed to its message sooner.

This film stands out for its unique narrative structure, seamlessly weaving documentary and narrative filmmaking techniques. Thanks to ABDUL T. SESAY's exceptional direction, the transitions between these styles are as smooth as slicing through melted butter. From a professional standpoint, the film is meticulously crafted, featuring beautifully lit scenes, exquisite camera work, and actors who bring the everyday characters to life with sheer brilliance.

Well, aren't we lucky ducks? We had the privilege of witnessing—and even participating in—the birth of a brand-new brand https://www.instagram.com/yolihungary/ ! There's something magical about bringing something (or someone) to life. I whipped up a script, set up my fancy mobile studio, and rolled out my top-tier gear. Timi is a hair-braiding maestro, so you bet your boots this shoot day was one for the books. And guess what? Our dog Jacky even snagged a role (kidding, she just chased her tail). In just eight hours, we shot five episodes of hair-braiding tutorials. I've finished the color grading and editing, and boy, did the episodes turn out fabulously. Fantasztikus élmény egy új életet adni, akár egy márka számára is. Elkészítettem a forgatókönyvet, előkészítettem a mozgó stúdiót és kivittem a professzionális eszközeimet. Timi profi oktató, így úgy tűnik, hogy ez a forgatási nap emlékezetes marad. És igen, Jacky kutyánk is szerepet kapott (na jó, csak vicceltem)! Nyolc óra alatt öt epizódot vettünk fel a hajfonásról. A color gradingen és a vágáson már túl vagyok, és az összes epizód elképesztően jól sikerült. Timi olyan egyedi hajfonási technikákat mutat be, amelyeket máshol nem találsz meg, csak náluk! Welcome to the latest episode of 'Behind The VFX Magic'! ✨

Filmed just a hop, skip, and a jump away from what I firmly believe is the world's second most tedious intersection. Using my drone for that perfect aerial view (always at a safe distance from traffic – no falling drones on my watch!). Can you discern Budapest's distant silhouette on the horizon? That's our secret little nod; she's being a tad shy today! 🤫

But let's get real, merely watching cars zip by isn't cinematic gold. In the world of stock footage, you gotta bring the razzle-dazzle. Since I have a thing for water, I splashed in lakes on both sides. On the left? A hint of Stonehenge vibes. But I restrained from going full Stonehenge – we need our speedsters in the spotlight. Because let's face it, B-roll is the unsung hero that stitches our visuals into a masterpiece. 🚗💨

Well, the temptation was just too strong to resist photobombing yesterday's scene again. I mean, who wouldn't want to be flanked by an epic cloud and mirror-like lakes on both sides? It was practically begging to be in the shot! The whole view is teetering on the edge of surreal. I'm half expecting a unicorn to trot by any minute now. I'm quite fond of it, to be honest. How about you? Is your sense of reality bending yet? 😄🎥☁️

Can you spot the city in the first seven seconds? No? Don't worry, I had trouble finding it too, and I'm the one who made it! 😄 But I bet you nailed it by the fourteenth second. Today at noon, my trusty drone and I set out to create a 'beachy' twist on Budapest. Now, at midnight, the VFX scene is finally ready! 🌊 Welcome to Budapest Island Resort – where the city meets the sea. Who knew Hungary was hiding its own tropical paradise? 🏝️

Ma ez egy geológiai bemutatóhely. Azonban a környezet egészen lenyűgöző, a háttérben egy vihar volt kialakulóban, ami különösen jót tett a felvételeinknek.

On Sunday, regretfully, my plans were thwarted by strong winds, preventing me from taking flight. However, come Monday, conditions were just right. So, in the early evening, I took to the skies with my trusty DJI Mini 3 drone. The footage was captured in Pest County, in the beautiful town of Göd, right from the banks of the Danube River, using 10-bit D-Cinelike mode.

The 10-bit D-Cinelike mode renders a 'flat' image in terms of color range, precisely what's needed for color grading - a technique at which I excel. The vibrant blues of the Danube, the lush green of the grass, the deeper shadows - all have been finely retouched.
