I feel like i’m constantly starting over.
Every new level of self awareness, every new emotion or communication of a vulnerability takes me back to feeling like I’m at the start line again.
But I particularly feel like i’m starting over again now i’ve hit my 30s.
I’ve experienced massive shifts from getting myself physically out of survival mode earlier this year, that has allowed me to focus on my self worth and self value -
Which have made me feel capable of new heights.
Not externally, but internally.
And a lot of them have made people slip away which have revealed NEW depths I hadn’t explored yet.
In fact, last week in particular I felt incredibly lonely.
I even wrote a poem on it (which honestly means i’m in the depth of depressy stressy mode)... I’m debating sharing it.
But it feels like a constant internal start over.
One thing I am certain about though is that every instance that feels like a “set back” is a new recalibration to REAL meaning.
Not sitting in the comfort of settling.
Or suppression the expressions I need to release
But realigning with more depth, more meaning, more fulfillment.
Everytime i try to come back to that.
So even though my poem may have been about empty chairs at empty tables -
Maybe it’s an abundance of space for the right people to come in? 🩷
it sure as hell doesn’t take away from the loneliness, but it might make experiecning it a little more hopeful.
