Sorry for the radio silence! We’ve been enjoying a well deserved rest in Bali and now we’re in the land of the long white cloud. New Zealand for anyone who didn’t know that!

Introducing Natalie Mewing - Food Stylist

Natalie hasn’t always been a food photographer – in fact she’s only been working in the industry since the beginning of the year! Before this Natalie was a High School Teacher who spent her entire weekend visiting produce markets, reading countless cookbooks & cooking up a storm for friends and family. It wasn’t until she was on maternity leave with her third child that she bought her first DSLR camera (an entry level Canon 800D with a kit + 50mm lens) and began to capture her creations, this is where her passion for food photography and food styling began.

Meet the wonderfully talented Domenique from

In issue four we featured Domenique and her beautiful ‘Lakeside Swim’ inspired by wild swimming in Ireland and the UK.

Domenique is deeply inspired by nature, the feeling of nostalgia, earthlike colours and the magic of fictional stories. Her work is rooted in ethereal, atmospheric and whimsical scenes that encourage viewers to explore these worlds and fuel their imaginations.

I can’t wait to see where will go in the next couple of years and Bloom & Folk Magazine will be alongside her every step of the way!
