I’ve been pretty quiet here recently. There has been so much of LIFE to be lived that honestly, I needed to not be creating content and doing things. At the same time, I’ve also been avoiding it.

So here are a few snaps from over the weekend, soaking in the goodness around me and a reminder to be WELL, to seek wellness holistically and to come back to your mission when you find yourself drifting. I wish I could say that everyday I get up and follow through with a set morning routine without fail. I don’t. The last 7 days I’ve managed to get up for a run then do yoga. Some days are easier than others. And on the days where I might fail to show up, I forgive myself pretty quickly and get right back up and try again. Consistency for me looks like never quitting just because I’ve failed once (or twice, or three times.. 😅).

The amount of times I have tried to develop a habit then gone off track does not mean I should quit trying to develop good habits altogether. No, it just serves as a lesson for me to create better systems around that habit or behaviour. Change doesn’t come easy. Good habits don’t come easy. Motivation doesn’t come easy. Growing doesn’t come easy. Being a better human does not come easy.

And just because we have failed before, doesn’t mean we can’t succeed.

Consistency is key. Day one, day two, day three. Messed up? Fallen off track? That’s okay. Don’t dwell on it. Learn from it and start again. Day one, day two, day three… Be consistent in not giving up.

Consistency isn’t just about doing something everyday - it’s always getting back up after you fall. 💪
