Bali's weather can be very unpredictable. We visited Lahangan Sweet on two sunny days, but it began to rain while we were up in the mountains on our first visit and the clouds had completely covered up the view (swipe). The second time we knew for sure that it would be an incredibly clear and cloud-free day, because we saw a million stars while riding the scooter in the dark. โœจ Once we arrived, we got treated by this dreamy morning gift. ๐Ÿ’—

Dear Bali, thanks for letting us see your beautiful wildlife, islands, waterfalls, rice fields. We learned about your friendly people and impressive culture and saw such a different part of the world! ๐Ÿ’›

Today, after two months, we leave Bali and with that, also Asia. Ahh it feels so crazy to say this to you guys, because we had such other plans to see more of this continent. But we had plenty of time to consider our life goals and time to think about what we want in life. For now we have set other goals to work on. And we are moving to Mรกlaga to make those plans work out. Hope you will follow us on this new adventure. ๐Ÿ™Œ

One thing is for sure, we have seen and experienced a lot, created memories for life and definitely would not have missed this! For now, we are far from done sharing the most beautiful places and tips about Bali. So be prepared for much more Bali content. ๐Ÿคฉ

The fascinating seaweed farms can be found in the clear blue water that connects the two islands of Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan. Hardworking people go out at low tide to harvest seaweed, carry baskets filled with branches of seaweed to land and let it dry before selling it. The seaweed is used in food, but it is also a key ingredient in soaps and cosmetics.

The seaweed farms provide a unique glimpse into local life, and the view from above is spectacular! Look at all the patterns and lines. ๐Ÿคฉ

This is not Mid or North America, it is Bali's Wild West. Can you believe it?! If you are looking for a unique / hidden photo spot in Bali, Savana Tianyar is the perfect place. ๐Ÿ™Œ

On Savana Tianyar, you experience life on the prairie surrounded by ranches, teepees, horses, cows and a golden wheat-covered landscape. This location gives you ultimate cowboy vibes.

From the savanne you can see the ocean in the distance and, if you're lucky, you spot the spectacular Mount Agung! Unfortunately the volcano was completely covered in clouds at the time we visited. โ˜๏ธ

We think it is such a cool place to visit, because you really don't expect to see this kind of extraordinary landscape in Bali! ๐Ÿคฉ

Most of you know that Abel is afraid of heights and on Nusa Penida he was confronted with heights almost every day.

Particularly at Diamond Beach. You must walk down an adventurous, steep path carved into a cliff's edge to reach the beach. The adrenaline rush was intense, but if that wasn't enough, there was a meter-high swing above wild waves crashing against the rocks. Abel had to swing because it was on his list, and WOW, the location is surreal! But he did and he didn't regret it at all.. ๐Ÿ˜

Dealing with fears isn't always easy, but facing your fears and pushing your limits is a beautiful thing, because becoming used to these situations allows you to grow. ๐Ÿซถ

We've realized over the past year of traveling that it's best to just let things happen naturally, like a waterfall and go with the flow. We were always so stuck on planning everything in advance, just to give ourselves the feeling that we had everything under control. However, things usually turn out differently in the end. Air Terjun Gembleng (Gembleng Waterfall) is hidden in the tropical jungle of Sidemen. The waterfall is formed by nature and creates natural rock pools to cool off. Take in the breathtaking view of the surrounding rice terraces, trees, and plants. ๐Ÿ’š

We went to the waterfall when the sky turned dreamy and magical. We had never seen such a surreal place before, neither had we ever heard the sounds of the jungle in real life, which was absolutely amazing. ๐Ÿฆœ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿชฒ
