" Award Wahana Tata Nugraha (WTN) this year, the participation of all - four times followed by the Government of the District Penajam Paser Utara," said Mustaqim.

Mustaqim also invite the participation of all parties to create a culture of safety and security of Traffic and Transportation , as well as the air effort in improving transportation services in the territory of the PPU , where this is in line with the mandate of Law Number 22 Year 2009 regarding Traffic and Road Transportation .

In his presentation, the Chairman of the Assessment Team WTN Centre Pratiwi m aying that it had assessed the gain associated WTN award in the District PPU. Assessment is done through several stages, and until now have lasted until the third stage.

In practice, the assessment phase consists of several indicators. For Phase I is an examination of the administration which includes planning, financing, institutional and legislation, human resources, transport, infrastructure, traffic and the environment. Furthermore, in Phase II is the investigation and operations which include facilities, infrastructure, traffic, and service to the community.

Meanwhile, for Phase III is a commitment (political will) Regional Head in the form of policy assessments and commitment of local governments in the development and construction of urban transportation.

According to the Assessment Team One WTN Yohannes, WTN assessment results so far have been conducted in the District PPU is good enough. However, there are still shortcomings that still need to be addressed and equipped so that the public service can be better and were able to reduce the level of accidents that occur. (Humas03)
