As Southeast Asia continues to rise as a global economic powerhouse, the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranking for 2025 reveals the region's biggest corporate players—those steering the ship in trade, energy, finance, and food security. The list is a mix of homegrown state giants and private sector behemoths from across the region.
🏆 Leading the pack is Singapore’s Trafigura Group, a global commodity trading company that has dominated energy and metal markets worldwide. Its strong presence in the region highlights Singapore’s continued role as a strategic trade and logistics hub.
💧 Thailand’s PTT, a state-owned oil and gas company, secures the second spot. It’s a vital energy supplier not just in Thailand, but increasingly across ASEAN.
