Went back to the Cabezon yesterday but the eggs had already disappeared. Hopefully some survived for the next generation.

I wanted to capture the Cabezon slightly different this time so used my fisheye at 8mm to create the circular fisheye effect (which usually I am not a fan of) and the second shot zoomed in at 15mm

Such a fascinating behavior to observe! spotted this scene the day before and captured some brilliant shots, which, of course, made me jealous. So, we went back yesterday, and I had my turn. Armed with the Nauticam EMWL and Sony 90mm, I was able to get a variety of shots all in one dive. Always amazing to revisit a subject and see how differently it can be captured!

It was awesome filming behind the scenes for the Monterey Shootout, an epic 36 hour photo competition right here in our backyard. It was wonderful getting to meet a lot of members of our dive community and seeing their epic shots highlighting the beauty of Monterey.
