'Beautiful in Its Time'
I asked God for a beautiful flower,
He gave me a thorny cactus.
I asked God for a cute little creature,
He gave me a caterpillar.

I was sad and disappointed...
How unfair it all was...

But then the cactus bloomed beautifully.
And the caterpillar grew and turned into a beautiful butterfly.
That's God's way.
Beautiful in Its Time...

God doesn't give me what I want.
But God gives me what I need.

Pain is a forging of the soul to make me strong.
Suffering is a lesson to make my soul steadfast.
No spiritual strength is created from comfort.

"Drowned in Validation" is a deeply evocative fine art project that explores the quiet, hypnotic pull of the digital world. Portraying a K-pop-styled teenage girl standing isolated under a heavy downpour, her eyes remain fixated on the glowing screen of her smartphone—oblivious to the storm around her.
Visually executed in a dramatic monochrome black-and-white aesthetic, a striking contrast emerges through the selective use of full-color elements: the vibrant glow of the smartphone screen and the iconic blue checkmark reflected in her pupil.
In this full-length masterclass tutorial, I take you step-by-step through the process of rendering wet skin textures, rain droplets, atmospheric lighting, and hyperrealistic facial features using traditional mediums.
