Among the things I enjoy outside of music, I really love the outdoors and traveling.

Discovering a new vibrant city, tasting new flavors, watching the sunset from a new viewpoint, or stepping for the first time on a hike I've never walked before.
Even though those activities can be hectic, they also invite me to reflect on how I walk on the path of life and at which pace.

That's why since the beginning of this year, I decided to slow down on the releases to be more present in my daily life. I took more time to enjoy the little moments, to get inspired for more personal work on the musical side.

I have a couple of collabs that should be out before the end of the end of the year. Some on Spotify, but I'm considering slowly moving out of the platform due to their latest investments and global policies. BandCamp and SoundCloud are the ones I'm thinking of using the most in the future.

Anyway, here it is for some updates and pictures from the places I've visited lately.

'Battlecry' from Shing02, the opening of the infamous anime Samurai Champloo🥷

This particular anime holds a dear place in my heart since I've discovered it when I was a teenager. Before that, I did not listen to hip hop at all.
Nujabes' beats really opened me to new rhythms, melodies, vibes, and culture.

Years later, I still had this influence in mind when I bought my audio interface and first midi controller to start producing my own beats.

After 5 years into the craft, I'm happy to be able to manipulate sounds, flip samples, compose drum beats, and mix it all to make this kindda remixes.

This is the 3rd single of first EP and first official collaboration with

Following "Ku ingat dirimu" and "Waktu", this new single displays some more cheerful vibes while still digging into the nostalgic vibes.
Mixing their writing and performance skills, and talk about the feeling of miss and being far from a loved one.

I am so happy and grateful I had the chance to be working alongside such talented people and produce this song. Big shout to the bass killa for composing this sick bassline that carry the entire track.

Had a blast during my last trip in Thailand with a very good friend of mine. Riding motorbikes and camping around Sinakharin Lake in Kanchanaburi region.

I was really happy to discover this area. Even though the weather was not always perfect, I came back home with a lot of good memories and a few new adventures to tell. Which is, in my opinion, the reason why one should travel.

If you have the opportunity to visit this beautiful country, get out of the beaten track and go explore the rural and wild areas guys!

It's been a while since I've posted anything related to what I'm up to in terms of music.

So here are some updates for you guys :

I have been working with a few other fellow producers and musicians on a mini-album lately. Some loungy, funky, hip-hop tunes that will make you wanna bang your head while chilling and relaxing with your crew.
No release date at the moment, but it should be out before the end of the year. Stay tuned 📻

New single coming out by the end of this month!
"Calm Dragon" will come out on the 31st of May.
It is a collaborative track with
that has some asian flavour mixed with some nostalgic vibes to create a very relaxing ambiance.

Had a blessed time visiting Melaka and discovering of this world heritage city with my wife 🏙

Its strategic location in the Strait that bears the same name made many envious. Conquered by the Portuguese, the Dutch, and then the British, it is now displaying a rich and vivid history.

Between street art, museums, historical buildings, and delicious culinary, this is definitely a place I'd like to go back to!

According to legend, Tioman Island is the resting place of a beautiful dragon princess.

Whilst flying to visit her prince in Singapore, this beautiful maiden stopped to seek solace in the crystal-clear waters of the South China Sea.

Enraptured by the charms of the place, she decided to discontinue her journey. By taking the form of an island, she pledged to offer shelter and comfort to passing travellers.

This is the perfect word to describe the feeling I had while chilling at the pondok that my father-in-law built in the family's lemon plantation. 🍋

Located on the slopes of Marapi volcano, it took us about an hour walk to reach this beautiful place where we shared a nice picnic while enjoying the scenery. ⛰️

Good company, good food, good times.
Feeling blessed 🙏

Which piece of gear gave you the best surprise?

For me it was the Midi Mix from

You may have seen it a lot on my reels or YouTube videos where I use it mapped to an effect rack in Ableton live which emulates some effects.

First time I got it, I wasn't actually sure why I bought it.
Probably after seeing some random reviews or tutorials, as a lot of beginner music producers do 😅

But with time and experience, it became an essential tool to my creative process. It also forced to be creative with the limitations I had in terms of gear.

Now I use it on all my productions, includes my next single "Enjoy the moment" That will be out this Friday.

Last month, I went out for an afternoon walk. Going through a snowy forest first, I ended up in a field covered with snow. Walking up the path leading back home, I stopped and took this pix of a beautiful sunset over the mountains.

I felt grateful to be there at that precise moment. So lucky to have the chance to admire this amazing view.

This day, I got reminded that every single moment we are given is a treasure to cherish. Even the tough ones. Because they give us an opportunity to learn and improve.

Also, that was the sparkle that inspired my upcoming single "Enjoy the moment" which will be out next Friday.

Back to this good hasince the beginning of the year. I've been neglecting this activity for a while, but since I got a kindle, it made it much easier. And no excuses even if I'm traveling.
